Turned my shoes purple, and very messy. I regret applying this to my favorite shoes, because now they're damaged.

Great Blue color, worked great on the shoes I dyed.

I used this 'stuff' on a pair of blue suede New Balance 608'a. For some reason, the original coloring faded badly even though the shoes are lightly used.Got this. Tried this. Warning - this is going to look more like purple. You have to be REAL careful about putting it on LIGHTLY to see how it absorbs. Even after that, I let it sit for a couple of days. THEN I rubbed the dry finish with a white terry cloth. It has now set for about 5 days. It kinda resembles blue AFTER aging a bit. But it came out too dark to me and still has some purple areas. I would like to give it 5 stars but this whole process is a "look / see" situation.

Ordered this product to "restore" a pair of leather Danskos after seeing a video online. In the video the woman restored leather loafers (with good result) with this dye so despite it saying suede dye I ordered it and got to work! I panicked when my shoes turned a copper color, almost like an oil slick type appearance and in reading other reviews this is a common occurrence. A google search quickly gave me the solution for this (go over the shoe with a cotton ball and alcohol). My result was awesome. Shoes are wearable again! I definitely recommend this product! Horrible product! Ruined my UGGS! I got the blue color and it turned my beautiful UGGS into a really weird blue with horrible gold undertones! I tried contact the seller but they were not helpful at all. Wasted money on the product and lost my most favorite shoes.

Be careful of this stuff! It dyes really well but will dye anything else it touches by mistake. It is a bit more purple than I had hopes but I like purple so it's not a tragedy. I have spruced up my blue suede clogs and they are now quite spiffy - though a different color than when they started.
