I had abdominal surgery and this was wonderful to use in recovery. I used it at home as a buffer between me and cats that might jump on me and used it in the car between me and the seatbelt. It was also good to hug if I needed to cough or sneeze. I highly recommend this for anyone having surgery on their torso.

I got this pillow after my hysterectomy and it has been so helpful. I love the size and the compartment to hold the ice/heating pad. It was very useful after surgery to reduce pain. I love the gray color and being able to put my phone in it while I am using it. Perfect post surgery pillow.

This pillow was a life saver! I’m two weeks PO and I’m still using it. I even bought one for my best friend for her hysterectomy next week. I highly recommend getting the pillow with the hot/cold pack.

This pillow was great after my umbilical hernia surgery. The doctor prescribed cold packs for pain and this pillow and the included ice pack was perfect. It is well made and looks like a throw pillow so that it fits in with decor. It is also great without the pack to use to brace your surgical site when coughing or sneezing. Also, protects from pets jumping on you. I highly recommend.

The pillow was a little smaller than I thought expected. However, it is very soft, nice quality and convenient design. I still use it to cuddle with.

This is a must have after a hysterectomy. It’s amazing. It’s like my security blanket. It’s definitely a needed item. Take it to the hospital with you. You can use it to put in front of your seat belt on the way home. You’re gonna actually have to use it every time you go to the bathroom for pressure on your stomach

Disliked that I did not receive the gel pack with my pillow.

My C sections wasn't planned and the hospital gave me a small support pillow to take home but it was nothing compared to this pillow! It has a heat and freeze insert that really saved the day! I didn't often put it in the freezer but I used the microwave option constantly! If your loved one is planning to go in for a C section, or you find out they had an unplanned one, absolutely get them this pillow!
