very enjoyable coffee and excellent value!
I am writing this review in respect of Sumatra and Bologna capsules from this range, although I have sampled most of the range in recent months (and enjoyed them all). The coffee is enjoyable and certainly represents excellent value for money, particularly factoring in that it is organic and fairtrade. Like Nespresso's own range, there are coffees of various strengths and flavours, though it may take some experimentation to find your favourite. The flavours are readily discernible and distinctive, from fruity, nutty, all the way to liquoricey... I am no coffee expert but I am happy with these pods. One of the issues that seems to plague 3rd party capsules in general is the fit with the machine. In some cases I have even had the machine stop working due to pressure problems. Thankfully no such problems with realcoffee capsules, which fit tightly and afford the same flow as the original range.however, I am knocking a star off, because they are not *perfect* in this regard - there is still a small amount of water seepage. In fact, I did my best to scientifically measure this, and discovered that there is about 1ml (or just over) produced when using a Sumatra capsule. Now, I have learned from another manufacturer in the past that supposedly "I am part of the problem" because I tend to use the espresso capsules to make a lungo size drink. Well, so be it: but I bought this machine for convenience, not to become a barista ;-) So, I may not be alone in making longer drinks from espresso capsules. So, I measured leakage after one espresso shot, then again after making a lungo size drink (another shot from the same capsule). In fact, most leakage occurred in the first phase of the cycle. See pics.I just keep a small piece of kitchen roll in the base of my capsule tray.

Happy with my purchase but
The seller missed one type of coffee but sent me something twice. Yet, happy with the quality and taste of the coffee. Happy to reorder.

Great alternative to pricey Nespresso capsules!
This is a great coffee selection coming from an Italian coffee lover 👌🏻 it’s good value for money and a nice change from the standard nespresso coffee capsules! Would highly recommend, this is already my second time buying this product!

Close to Nespresso
Like most committed Nespresso drinkers, I've dabbled with testing the odd value alternative. We drink Nespresso Ristretto pods, served as an espresso shot with milk and extra boiling water from a kettle, drunk in small mugs. The original Nespresso pods are smooth, with a decent depth of flavour.Usually when trying an alternative just the smell of the brewed coffee gives the game away, even before tasting. Often smelling just plain 'wrong'. We tried the Aldi pods recently and they were a classic example, cheap nasty rubbish with very strange unappealing aroma. These pods are the top rated alternative. We tested the max strength Espresso Roma. They passed the sniff test - the aroma was good (not great, but good) and moving on to the drink itself, again zero complaints. Got great, but good. They aren't quite as strong as the Nespresso pods, don't have quite depth of flavour but they are 90% there - which is miles better than any other alternative we've tried. The basic cost saving, ignoring delivery, is 38%. We order 200 pds at a time for free delivery with Nespresso and have free delivery via Amazon Prime so it's moot.We use around 8 pods per day while we're at home - roughly 340 days per year. These pods therefore offer a saving of £258.40 and bring our rough annual spend down from £924.80 to £666.40. The only downside is they are plastic. In terms of performance they are close enough to be an alternative you can live with and enjoy. I think if I'd been secretly served this alternative during a busy day I wouldn't have noticed. So a 38% saving is hard to ignore.
