This is great stuff. All cars that are ever parked in a tight garage or parking lot should have this. My BMW came with it, but I had to search to find the right stuff for my other cars. The car parts store had some thick stuff that fell off. The 3m Procter is nearly invisible but jeeps your door edge from getting scratched or scratching the adjacent car for most minor contact. I wish I had this product 30 years ago. Goes on easy, just cut to length and cut around extrusions inside the door for a great and professional looking install.

I always trust this brand. I applied it next day, it’s clear and seems protective for door edges. I will definitely but other 3m products to mitigate scratches damage

Chef's kiss! These are perfect for protecting the doors on our Tundra. We sit higher than most cars, so I'm always afraid of dinging the car next to us. The protection they give is amazing! They adhere nicely and were easy to install.

I liked this film. The film is of excellent quality and if installed correctly should last a long time. But when installing I had problems with two of the five stripes. This happened because there were burrs on the edge of the tape and when trying to remove them, the adhesive layer was damaged. Otherwise the film lays down wonderfully, its thickness is excellent, transparency is also excellent. In some comments I read that this film has uneven edges, i noticed this too. Therefore, if you see that the edge line begins to bend, you need to lift the film and change its position. Be sure to use a hair dryer to fold the film. Another thing I didn't like was the length of the strips for the back door, they were too long and for the front door they were too short. It would be better if it was a whole roll. Well, overall this is an excellent product that is not comparable to cheap protective films. I want to add that to apply this protective film you don't have to use a soap solution, you can stick it on dry.

This door edge protector is very good. I am using the clear one on a medium-dark blue car. It is minimalist and is not visible until you are close to it. Perfect. It gives good bump protection. Installation was different than what I have used in the past (those were a U shaped strip that fitted over the edge of the door). This one is a flat tape that you apply to the outside all the way down the door and then carefully fold over the edge of the door. Installation was easy and it comes with good instructions. The tape is very flexible and stretchable and easily fits to the curves of a door edge with out wrinkling or kinking.Since this is tape that sticks to the door, I am hopeful that it will not get dirty under it as time goes on. (That is a problem I always had with the U shaped type).A little pricey, but IMO, worth it.

great product ---almost invisible and doesn't come off in auto car wash

I ordered the 5 door option for a Tesla Model 3 and there looks to be plenty of material for me. I successfully installed on the first door. I erroneously didn't fold over the sticky tape termination to make it easier for the 2nd door and boy was that trouble! I spent over an hour trying to remove the backing and gave up yesterday. I finally went to the other end of the roll and manage to separate the backing. I then did the fold over tag trick to finish the other 3 doors of my car. I will do the trunk tomorrow.I found the product easy to use once I got the backing off. I didn't have any problems with bubbles and time will prove regarding the longevity but I'll be happy if it lasts 5 or more years.This tape is super thin and the backing should really be a little wider that the tape to make it easier to separate.

I read a review here that suggested to spend the extra dollar to get the 5 door package if you’re doing 4 doors so you would have a spare if you mess one up. So I did. Didn’t mess one up, but two of my doors needed longer than the 5 30” strips I received. So I needed the extra strip to splice onto those two doors to cover all of the outside edge.I followed instructions and the product went on well. I wore nitrile gloves to help prevent compromising the adhesive. Good elasticity to allow it to follow sharp curves smoothly.If you do have to splice, don’t press the end of the first strip down all the way until you start the second one. The strip blends so well that I couldn’t find the end of the first one to know exactly where to start the second one.Job turned out as well as my other car that was done by the dealer.If you need more than 30” per door, buy extra.
