Great for shipping labels
This label maker is fantastic! I use it for printing shipping labels and it’s super easy to set up and use. The wireless feature is so convenient and the print quality is great every time.

This Thing Sucks
It's hard to list all of the reasons for why this piece of equipment truly sucks so freaking bad.First off, if you have dreams of importing information into the software, and then printing large quantities of labels with ease. You are mistaken. It is difficult to use. CLUNKY would not even begin to describe the intense frustrating errors that come up all over the place just trying to print a label. You have everything manually step by step for each product. You cannot do a massive import. So, this means it will take you a lot of time if you have to print a lot of labels for a lot of products. Then, if you are lucky enough to get the labels to load into the machine without it become possessed and just spewing forth labels as fast possible, you might be able to print a label. However, guess what happens if 50 labels get jammed all at once through the machine? It gets gummed and full and labels stuck the the rollers which you have to then clean out meticulously. So, even then, let's say you get the thing working the labels will then just go off center randomly and you may then have to reprint your whole batch if you didn't double check. Even though it worked fine an hour ago. When you have to replace the tape you have to go through the same process every time. While it is possible to connect this machine to my wireless network. It will NOT STAY CONNECTED. So, it is useless in that regard. I have done all of the steps, connected to it, etc. I can print a test label. Then poof it just decides to vanish. The machine is visible on the router but you can't ping it, can't print to it, nor even load the web interface to figure out what's going on. I have reset the machine multiple times and done the same set up and each time this same problem occurs. There is a serious problem in everything to do with this product.

Works Perfectly
The setup was easy, even on a Mac. The wireless printing works well and I have not had any issues with the quality of the print.

Change The TCP/IP Port Settings
As a label printer, ti does good work. The Dymo Connect software, however, is terrible when compared to the previous DLS software. It is not an address manager; it is a label designer, not a label manager. It no longer includes an address book and the Microsoft Office/365 plug-in has been dropped. All of that pales when compared to the most often cited problem with the printer: in Windows when it goes offline, it never comes back online. Getting back online requires running the print troubleshooter, restarting the print spooler, or restarting the computer itself.I have found a workaround for this: When configuring the printer's network port, Windows turns on SNMP. For most printers, this is correct. IT IS NOT FOR THIS PRINTER. Turn SNMP off. Windows won't have any idea whether the printer is online or not, but Windows will print to it. If it actually is offline, when you get it back online,e.g., after changing the labels, the label pops right out.

Do NOT Buy - Worthless Software
I've used Dymo for years and I love it for printing mailing labels with USPS delivery bar codes. It's great when it works, but be prepared to spend hours of frustration trying to get the new software to work.I had been using Dymo Label version 2.7.5.47. There were a few minor flaws, but with a little time (10 minutes or less) I could get the printer reconnected and talking to the software. Then some Dymo corporate genius decided to issue Dymo Connect 1.4.8.2 software. Total disaster. The Dymo Connect software is clunky. The older software created a .abx file and i had hundreds of names and addresses in those files. There is no way to transfer the old files in to the new software. So now I'm in a situation where I have to decide to either stick with Dymo or ditch them as a supplier and find another label printer.Ugh. What a mess. And customer service. Bwaaaaahahahaha. Apparently in the Dymo universe, those two words are an oxymoron. Considering all the good years of use, I'm sorry to say the new software has forced me to highly recommend totally AVOIDING buying Dymo printers. Not a good value for the money, and a very frustrating experience.

Prints well but the new app does not recognize old LabelWriter 400 Turbo model address book
The printer works well, however the new application does not recognize the old printer address book. To use the address book, you need to export the old one in .csv and then import it. So, the old printer is not used, because the new application does not support the old LabelWriter 400 Turbo. You by the newer model, fancy with wireless connection, but you can't use your old addresses that are in your old PC. Some serious issues between dev and ops. Very disapointing.
