Well I took a gamble on buying this part let me tell you it’s amazing the difference it makes now no more wobble nothing. I had to buy a new wheeel tho but I needed to. I definitely would buy again and most certainly would tell others to buy. Great part and at a great price

This was a very simple fix. Needed to use a gear puller to remove the wheel as it was stuck. After that, just 4 screws/bolts replace the tilt mechanism + a couple Alan set screws that attach the end of the cable. We had No need to switch out the bottom plate that was already attached to the helm. If you have the same steering mechanism already, the switch is extremely easy.

What an unbelievable difference in steering. No more slop. I'm not all that handy so I was a little worried about installing this myself but it was really pretty easy. If not for the trouble I had just getting my old steering wheel off the shaft, the whole job would have under a half hour. Once I figured out how to get that off, this replacement part just fit like a glove. Perfect! Probably saved myself $250 in part cost and labor by doing it myself over a dealer.
