The adhesive is so strong, that I ended up having to buy another 10 foot LED neon rope light strip. I initially bought a 55" desk that didn't fit my needs, however the problem was that I had already installed the neon rope strip on it, and it wouldn't come off without completely taking off the adhesive, or damaging the desk. So I bought another one. This one fit my 63" desk perfectly, without the need for cutting any off. Which if you need to make adjustments, there are cutting lines alongside the back of the light strip. The width is exactly that of my desk so it rests perfectly on the edges. When I rest my elbows on it, it feels like an extension of the desk itself. It does get a little warm to the touch after extended periods of times, but it will not burn you. You will certainly feel when it's on. And you will see it too, as this light strip does get pretty bright. When the lights are off in the house, it illuminates the other half of the house including the kitchen where my desk is situated. The lights can be customized in the Govee Home app. You can find it during initial setup by selecting the "+" in the Device tab. It will find the light strip right away, and walk you through the setting up process. I have it -- along with the Sync Box kit -- combined in a DreamView so now both the light strip and the Sync Box will change and alter depending on what it happening onscreen. This paired with the Music Sync Box (H1162) can make for a pretty amazing light show. Just add music. This is a great product. It is malleable and easily conforms to even the sharpest of corners. Minimal planning required. Govee continues to outdo itself. And the products often have sales or coupons associated with them. Definitely pick it up!

Another high quality LED product from Govee ! Don’t let the title fool you , you can use these for more than just your desk . Also you can trim the length to size . They have a really good look and are very bright .

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the easiest peel and stick light devices I've used.Unlike many lower quality light strips this one shows 0 led hot spots which means it's a seamless strip. It comes with an inner "L" shaped plastic piece to not bend the strip too much. It's very soft feeling like a soft fair rubber, not sticky and adds safety if you have sharp corners on a table. We have it set up to our Wi-Fi network which works with all forms of Android and Apple users like Siri and Google and so far has not lost connectivity. Simple ask it to turn on and it will, you can also ask it to change brightness, modes and color, including when it should shut off or on.This is definitely worth the cost and has the length to fit most tables. Colors are vibrant and there's endless versatility.

Govee is quickly becoming my goto for all of my LED /smart lighting projects. Ever since my first smart bulb, no issues whatsoever (knock on wood). App is easy to use and Alexa/Google integrates as soon as you register it. And it looks good framing my computer workstation! Be sure to follow instructions as you can only bend it one way (back), corner brackets are included for the "L" corners (front).UPDATE: I bought this in September 2023 and as of January 2024, the last couple segments started going out or not connecting with the rest of the strip. Lightly pressing on the problem segment seems to connect (as shown from the last couple images). I sent an inquiry to Support after trying the troubleshooting they offer in the manual pdf but it doesn't address the issue. I hope there is something Govee support can offer or since there is supposedly a 12 month warranty on these lights that I can get a replacement... Will not be happy peeling the product off with that super sticky adhesive but I love this product and worth the effort. Only taking away two stars until I either get a maintenance solution or offer of a successful warranty replacement.ANOTHER UPDATE: Govee came through 48 hours later (after my first update) and had me do a factory reset (forgot the sequence but involved holding down the power button and one other button... this was NOT in the manual). After responding back that it didn't resolve the problem, they sent me a free replacement which arrived within 2 days (I was still under warranty). This was maybe 2 months ago as I'm writing this and no issues. I'm just happy that Govee stands behind their products and responsive to customer concerns!I immediately bought a Govee sconce I had in my save for later cart, after that experience. If a brand takes care of me, I'll stay loyal to them. Bad experiences are only bad because nothing was done to address the issue.

The sticky part holds well to all sides of my wooden desk. The lights are bright and shine well even when bent around corners. The corners of my desk are quite sharp, so I am impressed they held on well for the many months I have used this.

Super easy to use. Surprised by the high quality. Adhesive is really good. It hasn’t fallen yet. Thick quality protecting LED lights. I really like it. Its not like those spotting led lights. Thanks so much Govee for affordability! It’s not cheap to buy LED lights.

Love these strips. Super bright or dim, lots of color variety and character, i dont see individual leds in the strip, its just one smooth color. gradients work well, and it just screams quality.Ive never spent this much on LED's before, but I'm 100% happy with these.Update.After a power failure last night half the strip stopped working. Still connected to WiFi, could still control it, change the colors, power cycled it, everything I could think to do. The strip died despite the fact that it was plugged into a surge protector so these must be pretty sensitive. My 2nd strip survived. I still love this product and recommend it, but I’m upset that it kicked the bucket in this fashion considering how expensive they are.
