This is a great replacement handle for Moen showers. It's a decent size, is easy to install, and is much cheaper than the brand name handle.

At half the price of the Moen factory replacement plate this was a great find! I was worried the existing valve inside the pony wall of my garden tub was going to be a problem, but this connected with no issues. Any issues with instal was my own fault as I kept jumping ahead of myself. FYI - There is a super thick pad inside the plate cover so you might have to trial and error with lining up the screws but they will go in and they secure well. One piece of advice close off or block off the drain because I got lucky and caught the handle locking screw with my foot before it fell into oblivion. I wish I would have taken a before picture but there ain't no way I'm going thru that madness again. Very happy with the purchase.

Not a bad fixture and looks good but the last screw that bolts the handle on tightly well its so tight and the handle has some play to to it but works okay 👍 still in operating the handle and temperature control.

TL;DR - not a universal fit, but easily updates the look of your shower with a fairly straightforward installation.A very key note when replacing shower handles is understanding what type of VALVE you have behind the wall. This can be figured out by removing the old hardware and taking a peek inside the wall. With a couple google searches you should be able to figure out what is compatible with your valve. From my understanding, a lot of these valves are somewhat proprietary to certain brands. Meaning if you have a "Moen Posi-temp" valve, you can only use hardware that will fit over that valve. Not a huge deal, but its not a plug and play situation with these other standalone Amazon brands like you would think.After just a couple minutes of removing and installing the new one, my shower has been upgraded tremendously!

It updated those nasty ole 80s plastic knobs, and for perfectly. Some reviewers mentioned it didn't fit, but I must audit that. I myself thought it didn't fit until I applied way more pressure and wiggled it on. I appreciate the snug fit because it will be more watertight, you want that in a shower knob. And also, yes I was concerned about how far the handle stuck out. (We put it in a really narrow pool shower only 30" wide). Tbh I was going to uninstall & return but my kids used it before I got the chance and come to find out we actually don't even notice and never have issue with bumping it. For the price it's an excellent value, and much better than those outdated models. The finish has held up in hard water too, we've had it in for 6 months.
