This was a replacement for the lid that broke on my Shark vacuum. Works great!

This is a very nice quality replacement lid for my Dyson V10, however, removing the old lid is definitely not that easy. You need to be very careful or you could crack your brand new dust bin lid or worse, the old bin. Instructions do NOT come with the product, but are included in the photos for the Amazon listing. I did find a very good video online detailing how to remove the old lid and replace with a new one, so please go ahead and look for that so that you can safely install the new dustbin lid The gaskets are good quality and everything appears identical to the Dyson product. It's much more affordable to be able to replace just the broken part and not have to purchase an entirely new dustbin from Dyson. I'm very pleased to have been able to find this. Once the gaskets on the old lid start cracking the seal and suction will be adversely affected. And lord knows you don't want anything escaping the dust bin either. This is a great replacement part.

The media could not be loaded. This off brand dust bin works and holds in place. The clip on our old one broke and it would at first open up as we vacuumed with our Dyson V8 Animal and then it wouldn’t shut.This fixed the issue!!! We have a vacuum again!! Super easy to install and makes it refreshed and see-through again.I did a few other upgrades… in my video I talked about all of them.-Vinny
