No way is this for a 50mm sink waste pipe
Too big it’s not for a 50mm plastic pipe it can’t be its way too big as you can see from the photos, it comes in 2 parts and they are both way too big to fit a 50mm pipe as a water stop

It didn't multifit the end pipe I needed it to despite double checking!

Excellent quality
However, beware of the size. For some arcane reason 2" doesn't mean that it fits a pipe 2" across. But of course professionals would know that, and no doubt many DIY-ers, too.
