ESV Journaling Study Bible (TruTone, Brown/Chestnut, Timeless Design): Holy Bible, English Standard Version

This was an excellent purchase. The Bible is beautiful and I love the notes. The notes are a condensed version of what is in the big ESV study Bible-obviously-which is why I bought it. It's a Bible that can easily be taken to church or when traveling. Print is small, but easy to read and the journaling space is generous. Very pleased.

Really like this Bible! Good feel on the leather, flexible to lay down on lap comfortably, good margins for note taking, and nice notes/graphics/maps for additional detail. Bible is definitely larger than your average Bible though

10/10, realy cute. It has a string to mark the pave you're on and a decent amount of space for notes. Pages are super thin and easy to rip but it's sort of expected lol

This Bible is beautifully made! I have been patiently seeking a study Bible/Journaling combo, glad I found this one. The margins are great and the book overview impressed me. Its neat, and very nicely laid out. The font size was just s bit smaller than that I would like but they it is not small print so I will get used to it.I am really excited about this purchase!

Beautiful Bible. My only issue was the font was too small, especially in the study notes. This is why I dropped 1 star. For those that do not have an issue with small type this Bible would be wonderful.

I LOVE this Bible! I originally ordered the hardback version, but exchanged it for the leather/soft version, and I prefer this one. It does not feel too big (the hardback did to me), and the journaling space is just right. I also love the introduction to the books and the notes for each verse. I would highly recommend this Bible - it was exactly what I was looking for to go deeper into to my study!

This review is for the Two Tone / TruTone ESV Journaling Study Bible. This particular Bible I did return due to it not being brand new and already had some marking in it. Still the few days I had it I was able to determine that the soft leather cover was not firm enough for me. If your intent is to use it laying flat on a desk or table then you probably won't have any issues. Attempting to use it while in my hand the pages were bending too much for me and I would not consider trying to write in it like that. This is a personal taste so the end user will have to determine what they like. I did order the Black Hard Cover edition and have been happy with that. As for the content. There are enough reviews and YouTube videos out there for you to get a good idea of what the contents look like and how it compares to others, but let me add a few tidbits. Yes the main type face is readable, but the study notes and especially the cross references are potentially too small. I personally would love a large print version of this Bible. Increasing the typeface and number of pages would not negatively impact this Bible. The study notes are taken from the ESV Student Bible. I've not seen that in any review, but in the introduction material in the Bible it does state that is where the notes come from. So in essence you get a ESV Student Bible with space for notes. I do like the hard board slip case if you want to use it especially for the TruTone version. For me this is a great balance between having a Bible with enough notes to get started and enough space to add notes.

Great Bible good quality, it arrived a week earlier then expected I’m excited to start reading and study for great for beginners it seems and the box it comes in is good for storage, and big and thick Bible if you haven’t had a study Bible before notes are easy to understand and provide great incite and broadens your under Of the passage, chapter or book you are reading in the Bible. This is a great book for someone who may need a new Bible or just staring out thank you, May God’s peace and Grace be with you always.
