First off, the pros. This little mic is exactly that: Little. I like that. I also like that it comes in a nice pouch and that the mic feels well-made. It also produced good quality recording on my computer.Now the cons. The mic didn't seem to work with my phone. I plugged it into the headphone jack and attempted to make a recording, but I could tell no difference between the recordings I've made with the built-in mic on the phone and this lavalier mic. However, upon further research, I found out that this was probably due to a lack of the proper adapter on my end, so I will continue to investigate this issue. Although, as I mentioned earlier, the mic works on my computer, and that will be sufficient for now. Also, the headphones port on the I mic I received is horrible. I had to position my headphones just right in order to get sound to come through them, otherwise, all I heard was silence or choppy audio. However, having said all this, I still think this mic deserves four stars from me. I didn't get this mic for the headphones port. I might not have read the description well enough, but I didn't even know that the mic had one, so it was no great loss for me. Also, I could gauge the recording quality by connecting it to my computer, and it was good, so I'm satisfied. I'll work on getting the proper adapter for my phone later.

From my wife: I have already started to use this microphone to record music on my iPad! I love using it to sing!This microphone is extremely easy to use. It attaches to you clothes with a clip. The other end of the wire connects to your computer/electronic device. It is good quality. It comes in a little drawstring bag for safe keeping.The microphone is small and convenient. It doesn't weigh down my shirt or get in the way while I'm recording.Overall I'm glad I ordered it and I will continue to use it often. It has helped me get back into recording vocals. It just makes everything more convenient!

This microphone came with a nice faux-leather carrying case which was a nice touch. The microphone sounds exponentially better than my iPhone 6S Plus, and better than the Zalman Zm-Mic1. This mic sounds more full and realistic, while the Zalman sounds a bit more distant. This is only based on Voice Memo recordings, and when using filters like gain, the Zalman can be improved.It comes with a lengthy cord of 1.5 meters/59 inches and has a nice foam windscreen included that is removable.The one star deduction is due to not receiving the advertised 4-pole to 3-pole adapter that is used to plug into other devices like PC. When I contacted them about this, they would not send me one, but told me to re-order the product and they would refund me through paypal. I opted not to do this because it sounded shady. Take that into consideration when purchasing this product.Overall the mic does sound great!

I thought it was gonna be a regular microphone ... but it was just like it said, "a lapel microphone" ... not sure why it is wireless, as you do need to plug it into your phone. The mike that I received did not come with the 4 pin to 3 pin adapter that is mentioned in the description. Nor did it come with spare foam mike covers that are shown in the pictures. I purchased this to use with a hand held Sony Digital Voice Recorder. The 4 pin plug didn’t work with recorder so I purchased a 4~3 pin adapter. It still doesn’t work with the recorder. Rather disappointed in it.The internal mike on the recorder is ok, but I don’t want to have to hold it while speaking.

Works on my Galaxy note 3 but did not work on my Canon T6i camera. It was going to be my Primary mic for making videos with the T6i. I needed to buy an adapter which was almost as.much as the mic. This added expense wasnt worth it. I should have gone with my gut and buy the Takstar SGC-598 for about $25

Decent little lapel microphone for the price. It has a splitter at the bottom so you can connect headphones while the microphone is plugged in. It has pretty good sound quality, but don't expect the best. I couldn't figure out how to get my computer to recognize it as a mic, but I'll only be using it with my phone anyway. Overall, if you need a small mic for Youtube or something, I would recommend this mic.

This is a great microphone, especially for the low price. It's crystal clear with both my smartphone and my laptop. It took me a few minutes to get it running with my laptop, since I kept choosing "mic" instead of "line in." It also has a great storage bag and a connection to add headphones. Love it!
