I've been using it for a while and I like it. Just get rid of the fragrance. You can use essential oils easily. There's no need for synthetic fragrance.

This stuff works very well. I use a soft bristled beard brush to apply it. I do not like the smell of it though, but it is pretty mild and doesn't seem to last more than a few minutes so I don't really care about that. It washes out quickly and doesn't seem to build up or anything like that. And you get a LOT for the money compared to just about all other products. It states it was developed for men of color but I don't really think it makes any difference. I'm just an average white guy and I think it works great.

On the back it says” for people of color” well I’m white and it’s a great product. The product is thick and will leave beard looking shiny but very oily/ greasy. It has a neutral smell/ no added fragrance. It’s not like regular balms, this one makes your beard smooth after you wash it out.

I'm always going to buy black products and this was an Amazon top seller but I saw a comment that said something about the smell. I was a little worried but purchased it anyway. First thing I did when I got it was smell it. It smells great! Pure Shea butter can smell funny but this is a mixture of Shea, cocoa, and something else. It mainly smells like cocoa butter with a hint of another masculine smell. I'm not sure what the other smell is but either way it's a light smell and it smells great. Great product, looking forward to using it on my beard daily.
