Clear and well laid out with information on astronomy jargon. Month by month guides for what to look out for and where. The sky charts are ultra clear and easy to read. All in all it's packed full of useful information, charts and graphics and I'd fully recommend.

An excellent book, especially for those (like me), who are new to astronomy as a hobby. I like the layout and easy to read structure that allows you to just dip in to the current months events and stars that can be seen. The star maps are great and have taught me a lot and what to look for. Recommended highly.

Decided to buy the paperback this time as I didn't like the way the eBook was formatted last year. Nicely laid out with great tips on what to observe, but don't expect detailed maps with most objects shown. Recommended if you need a quick reference guide.

I bought this reduced to £3, a real bargain. Even at full price it's a great little book. Full of maps and information for amateur astronomers in an easy to understand format.

This book covers the basics of stargazing in a basic but incredibly informative way. It works best as a quick guide, it's great to pick up and check what to look out for each month, with a bit of information on each event – enough to get you interested without going overboard. The charts and explanations are very accessible and straightforward to follow, it also explains some astronomy jargon. The low cost and straightforward illustrations make this an essential buy.

This is a very good book if you’re interested in stargazing. Clearly laid out star charts for each month of the year and interesting objects to observe. I have bought one every year since 2019.
