Near perfect for my guitar practice, but finish could be better....
I needed a bar stool with foot rest for my guitar practice, and having looked at the branded versions (Fender, Gibson et la) which were massively overpriced, I settled on this one. Easy assembly took about 20 mins. The rotating seat pad was a little stiff to start with, but has loosened up with use. However I was somewhat disappointed with the finish of the legs/frame. Thin walled tubing is used with what looks like a very thin chrome electroplated finish. There are marks on the footrest ring from the machine used to bend it very visible through the inconsistent chrome finish. In a moist atmosphere my guess is it would soon show signs of corrosion.Don't get me wrong, the stool is sturdy and is perfect for its intended task. Its just the finish that lets it down.
