How does this hmd handle reprojection/motion smoothing? does it have its own solution in its software or do you use steam's?

DPVR uses a solution developed by our own software team, which operates in a manner similar to Steam's reprojection/ASW mechanism. Steam's solution currently has issues when handling the screen used by DPVR, so DPVR developed our own solution.

Do you needed a facebook account or other monthly account?

You can connect a Facebook account although it’s not required, you don’t have to connect really anything other then a google account and your steam
