Highly recommend! This was a really nice painting to do. Excellent canvas, strong, thick and sticky. Plenty of beads to work with, (I Did the square beads, it looks a lot less pixelated) and COLORS ARE AMAZING! Really deep rich colors! I loved this one’s so much with how right the colors were I went back and bought a the cat.

I love square DP canvases, but most are really expensive so I don't get to do them as much as I'd like. I highly recommend this kit. The picture is super cute and the drills are pretty good quality and lined up great. I had some leftover AB's from another project and spattered them in for a little extra sparkle. The only negative thing I would have to say is the drills are not pre-baggied or labelled and the kit does not come with any baggies. Otherwise, if you like cats or know someone who does, great kit.

This diamond painting is so beautiful. It reminds me of the black light posters we had in our bedrooms in the 70's. The colors really pop! The only problem I had was that I couldn't tell the blue squares with black writing. The 3's and the S's were impossible to tell apart even with a magnifying glass. I ended up mixing the two background colors and placing them willy nilly on the picture. Other than that it was a fun piece to do.

This is MUCH nicer than I had anticipated. The colors are so rich. I just started doing diamond art for relaxation/stress relief and it's the pretty projects like this that I love.

This was a fun diamond painting to do. The colors are vibrant, there were plenty of drills, and adhesive was very good. It did have a cover sheet of clear plastic which can be difficult to work with. I bought a roll of parchment paper ($3 for 50 foot roll), cut it into long strips approximately 3 inches wide, laid each strip horizontally across the canvas, then I could fold back a few inches of each strip as I worked an area of the picture. The kit comes with wax, tray and pen. This kit had square drills and I find using tweezers the easiest to stick square drills to the canvas. But if you find you like diamond painting and want to invest in a diamond pen, I've used a pen with the tips that you push into the handle and also a pen that is threaded where the tips are screwed into the handle. They both work fine but I found that the push-in tips will eventually loosen up and spin around and I had to glue them into the handle. The screw-in ends so far seem very sturdy and don't move at all. Metal or plastic tips, I think, are a matter of personal preference as both seem to do the job ok. The wax that came with the kit worked fine. Working with round drills, I haven't found any wax that works better or worse than any other. as long as you don't stuff too much wax into the pen. In place of wax I did try using putty that is made to stick things to walls but didn't have good luck with that as it left putty poop on the canvas, has the consistency of chewing gum and is almost impossible to remove. Round or square drills, I love doing both. Hope this review will inspire you to try diamond painting. Warning: It is addictive!!

The media could not be loaded. I loved this diamond painting but I do have a few complaints, in the description photo of the cat looks more purple but once you do it it comes out more blue and I was slightly disappointed as I was hoping for purple like in the photo. Also there was not a lot of extra drills they send just enough to finish so if you have any major spills you’ll have to have the company send more drills. It was a great size and the picture came out very clear and the symbols were easy to read. If you want a more blue cat than purple you’ll definitely be happy with the product. I would recommend.
