Lebert Fitness Dip Bar Stand - Original Equalizer Total Body Strengthener Pull Up Bar Home Gym Exercise Equipment Dipping Station - Hip Resistance Band, Workout Guide and Online Group

I've not used it properly yet as I'm still putting together a new training plan but my first impression is that they are sturdier and less wobbly than I thought they might be. It's well-made, seems solid, finish is nice and the grips seem good quality - bare-hand grip is solid. The height is fine for most things but I would definitely get the XL and not the standard version. Fit 4 small bolts and it's constructed, so very easy with the supplied Allen key. Another growing brand produce one of these that is taller but Lebert is more established and is widely used so I opted for the XL. I don't usually review items so quickly but I do update my reviews over time so I'll give it a few months or so and update.As for the 2 DVDs that comes with it.. oh dear! The first one is the 9 minute long "Instructional DVD" that's emblazoned on the box and website , the first 2 mins of which is a show-reel advert for their product. Then you get a few exercise tutorials lasting 7 mins in total: Single bar pull ups, single bar push-ups, triceps extension, hip extension, 2 bar push-up, 2 bar pull-up, dips, cardio drills, stretching. They don't have time to cover very much or go into any detail.The second DVD is the "LeHIP Training" DVD. They really shouldn't have bothered. They couldn't even label the DVD so it is entitled "Untitled Project" when you enter it into your DVD drive or player. It's split into 3 short sections: "Strength & Power" (15 mins), "Tabata" (4 mins 50 secs) and "Cool Down" (4 mins 30 secs) . At the beginning of the very first video on section 1, the women giving a instruction to a group of women begins by looking at the camera and says "Welcome back!". It's like they forgot to add some earlier tutorials to the DVD. In fact, it's strange there's a "Cool down" section to the DVD but no crucial "Warm-up" section at all - there is no mention of a warm up. It's all down-hill from there. The woman does a few exercises with the group but and shows a few exercise you can do with it but without telling you anything about how to do any exercise, technique etc. You've just entered an exercise class half way through and are simply watching them. Sections 2 and 3 have nothing to do with this product at all. They are a waste of time unless you own some exercise bands, no parallettes to be seen anywhere. No thought has gone into either DVD. There are tutorials on YouTube that are vastly superior and I recommend you go and look there, buy a good book and use the DVDs as beer, OK - smoothie, mats!

What can I say other than if you are serious about calisthenics look no further. These are amazing. Been using them for a few months now and absolutely love them. I am six fix tall and I am able to do dips without any issues. They are quite sturdy, and the grip is great on these. They have become an absolutely integral part of my home gym.

I have tried some other similar bars - the last ones I got cost £70+ and whilst building the bolts threaded and the bars unsafe. I sent them back the same day.Bought these, and straight out of the box you can feel the quality.They were easy to build, and were as described once built. Very sturdy and solid.Im 6’4 and I can comfortably do dips on these without my knees hitting the floor.I can also do inverted rows although at full stretch my back touches the floor. No issue though.Overall expensive but you won’t find anything similar that compares to the quality of these. The tubing is heavy, thick and sturdy and the foam grips are easy on the hands.Some have said the base isn’t big enough to be sturdy but I have not found this to be the case.The hip resistance band feels of a good quality. Wasn’t expecting anything from that but it is a nice add on that I will use.

After a long research I settled for this Dip bar as it had very good reviews. When I started to assemble it the yellow paint near the holes started to crack which was very disappointing. Upon using the dip bar I found it to be strong and sturdy and I am very happy with it.

Great equipment for home workouts with dips or inverted rows ! It’s easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. Price via Amazon UK was very competitive too.

Great product. Would say its a little overpriced but have used before so felt more at ease getting these instead of others that are on the market now.

Very sturdy and stable. Great grip for dips, lats work and gymnastics. Also tall enough for deep dips (185 cm or about 6′ 1″). The only thing that could have been better is the angle of the "feet". It's not exactly 90 degrees on both bars, so when you place the bars right next to each other, the grips are not properly aligned. Still, I would have to give the Equalizer more than 4,5, so 5 stars it is.

Great bars, very stable and have comfy grips. Used it a few days ago and my body has died

I'm writing this on behalf of my boyfriend, who is absolutely obsessed with this thing. Its sleek design fits perfectly next to his desk, and he’s been repping it out with tricep dips, Australian pull-ups, and a bunch of other exercise terms I can’t even name. He loves it so much that I’ve learned to avoid bringing it up because if I do, he’s pulling it back out! Lol. I love him, and he loves his new birthday gift!

I bought these to keep my upper body in shape after a bad ankle fracture. They are great! Highly recommend these!

I purchased these equalizer workout bars to add to my Fitness gear at home - and I’m impressed. They are beautiful to look at, comfortable to use, and provide versatility to my workouts. I use them for push-ups…a much better workout than doing push-ups off my bed! I use them for dips, which is a good measure of how much work in that area I need to do. These also provide a source of stability when I do something that has a risk of sending me on a fall (I’m pretty well along in age, so I have to be careful). I purchased the bright yellow set which is a deep, rich color that brightens up my room and wakes me up in the morning like a strong dose of sunshine. So it saves me on coffee money (little joke). I just discovered that there are nearly 40 videos on the Lebert Equalizer site that will help keep me very busy and fit. I’m looking forward to exploring them. I tried a few - they’re well done and most definitely provide added value to this treasure of a product. I am just starting to explore, but it looks like there’s a multitude of user-friendly exercises and communities. If I could give 100 stars, I would.I am 5 foot six and purchased the shorter of the two versions - that works well for me but if you’re taller you might want to consider the higher version. The customer support folks are accessible, friendly, and eager to help so you can call them with any questions I had a lot of success with that to help me figure out which size to get. OK I’ve got to go now do some work out with my equalizer dip bars!

I’ve bought 2 of these sets within the last 6 months, and they get the job done. They are very sturdy, and I like the length of them. I’m 6 foot and I can do dips on them without having to bend my knees too much. Has def helped me build my chest. I see this unit lasting a long time during my journey of getting buffed. You can buy this with confidence. Although I will admit I’m not sure if it’s worth spending the extra on this. If your on a budget you might be better off buying cheaper ones. I just bought this one because I knew it was solid. It is double the price as other dip bars though.installation was super easy. If you have a tough time putting it together you should not be allowed to be around heavy weights lol.
