Write, and trace amazingly! Perfect ink and perfectly made pens.

I was tired of writing in my OChem notebook and having ink bleed through to the next pages, or little dots appearing on the previous pages from ink not drying quickly. I bought these looking for pens that are dark, extra fine, but will not bleed through unless you hold it to the paper for an extended period of time. I write small and fast, but the rolling ball pens I've used in the past still leave little bleed-through dots on certain letters. These pens are fantastic. Their color (for the artsy people here) is a sort of muted/matte black with very thin lines. There is no bleed through from my normal writing. If I do want it to bleed through I have to hold the pen in place for about a second before I start seeing it on the other side of the paper. Even then, it's not as much a full bleed-through as it is partial bleed through that doesn't quite reach the surface of the other side.Overall, fantastic pens if you do a lot of writing for notes/notebooks and don't like bleed-through.

In the first set I ordered, the 0.3 marker appeared to have no ink, the nib itself was white and no amount of manipulation made a difference in making ink appear. In the replacement set, the largest brush tip had ink but went on very light and dry so I was able to make a complete and functioning set out of the two. I hesitate to mention this because I might have just been unlucky, but I wanted to comment to suggest that buyers make sure they check each of the marker pens as soon as possible after being received in case there are similar problems.I had issues with a couple of the smaller nibs not going on the paper solidly although this seemed to clear up when scribbling on another piece of paper so it might just be an issue of getting the ink flowing.The markers don't feel quite as smooth drawing across a surface as similar markers.Very minor complaint that won't affect most people, but the color does not go on as dark as similar black marker pens when compared side by side.With all that being said, This is an AMAZING variety of nib-types in one 16 piece set at a good price. I especially like the chisel tips. In addition, the storage sleeve the markers ship in is decent with a latch for regular use. Looks like it will stay closed even if you throw it into a bag, but even if it didn't, the pens clip to the plastic case pretty securely. It seems pretty heavy-duty, crush resistant and higher quality than similar packaging for pen markers. You probably won't need a different storage container.For the price (I paid under $15 USD), I am satisfied with my purchase, but I have concerns about the longevity of the markers. While I am not sure I personally would purchase these again, they are going to be a decent buy for folks just looking to purchase one set with a lot of tip/nib options for experimentation with designs and tangles.

Purchased these pens for writing out the string tags I used on jewelry. The tags are very small so I need the finer tips. These pens work perfectly. They don't smear on the silkiness of the tag and the lines are bold without skipping. I have tried many different gel pens and none of them worked. I'm very happy to finally find a pens that works and is decently priced.

There is a good variation of sizes, it dries quickly but it depends on what is underneath, overall great quality and I would order again if I needed drawing markers again
