Good buy.
Not a professional and got this for my first attempt at painting on my own. It prepped the wall and ceilings and this was pretty good! Its a bit grainy and is *very thick*. But the coverage is good and so far so good!

quick delivery
Can't comment on the effectiveness yet s we've just done. Was certainly not the nightmare to use an others have said.... I found it covered easily and painted over well. Our fingers are firmly crossed that it will keep the mould at bay!!

Did not receive the paint exactly that I ordered
The Coo-Var paint in the amazon advertisement shows that it 'inhibits mould growth'. However the tin that I received shows that it is for 'topcoat or undercoat' only and the paint is quite thin. I returned one of them and ordered again. However, I still got the tin with 'topcoat or undercoat' only.

Great stuff
I wasn't sure what to expect but it really does work. My bathroom ceiling needed taking down to the bare plaster and treating due to years of black mould. I mixed this with anti mould additive, probably about 3 months ago, and its perfect. Couldn't tell you how long it will last but even when long hot baths are taken there's no water dripping from the ceiling anymore. I can honestly say i haven't noticed a single bit of condensation. Great product.

Not the solution I'd hoped it would be
I painted this on the lower part of my bedroom walls last winter, as I have condensation problems there during the colder months and hoped this might do the trick. I wanted to wait a while before reviewing the product to see if it worked for me.The paint finish is quite matte and rough in texture and although it has perhaps worked in lessening the condensation very slightly, I'm still getting a fair amount where it's painted and mould continues to grow on my walls, so it hasn't been the solution I was hoping for. I should add, I also have a dehumidifier in my bedroom, so this was something extra alongside that to try and combat the condensation.

Good, don’t expect miracles.
Had a solid brick house with condensation forming behind furniture, in corners of room etc.Used this product with some reasonable success.Generic day to day condensation (cooking, having a few extra people around, few wet socks drying on the radiator) is managed by this paint. However if I put on my condensing dryer with windows shut, this product was unable to keep up with that. However that is a lot to ask.Fair product, and hope a fair review.
