In case there are any real gun people here who may wish to know more. This review is for the SL-1085 Solofish light / laser combination. Light is okay, could be brighter – not 800LM maybe 500-600LM. Green laser is very good, bright and crisp. This light / laser combo is designed to fit precisely with pistols with 4-inch barrels. Meaning that the light is exactly flush with the end of the barrel. IF you have more than a 4-inch barrel, the light will not reach the end of your barrel. IF you have a shorter barrel than 4 inch the light will stick out past the barrel (which I do not ever want myself). I purchased this for the S&W M&P 4-inch platform (identical frames for all the 9mm / 40 cal. / 10mm / .45 cal. frames). I have mounted 2 of these now to a perfect fit. Follow the instructions folks! Many pics of this light on others weapons clearly show they are mounted incorrectly. When mounted correctly the buttons will be directly over the forward portion of the trigger guard (where your finger reaches precisely correct, comfortably without reaching). You need to take out the 2 screws entirely to use the smaller rail plate (normally) for the proper fit on 4-inch barrel pistols. For the money and fit, these light / laser units are an exceptional value. Cheers!

I purchase 3 of the Solofish 800lm. I installed one on my Sig 226 but have yet to check it out (closest gun range is 40 miles away)! So I installed another on my Barra 1911 BB gun. Both installations were easy and fitment was great! I shot the Barra BB gun with the solofish 800lm and after I dial it in, it hit target at 10 ft away! Much better than the stock fixed sites! The flash light use a led bulb, and is pretty bright and will partially blind a threat on the pulsing mold! Now to try it on the range. Btw after putting it away, it held charge after a week!

Iam really happy with this product. It was easy to install and adjust. It has kept its center. It fits a G2C perfectly. The light and laser are bright even when on together. the buttons work well and are smooth with a positive click. You cannot beat the price for what you get. I like that it does not have removable batteries that leak or go dead.

Sturdy, decent design, fairly compact, bright light, good laser, laser adjustment will need attention but works fine. Directions explain it a little but as you adjust one it throws the other off a bit. Don't do one all the way, then the other. Do both (up/down and left/right) incrementally. I've only had it two days, we'll see how the battery lasts. I don't expect to be using it much, might take a while to determine. I would/will buy again.

Fit my Tisas px-9 perfectly. Light is bright and the laser is great. Blue laser doesn't pick up particles in the air so no one can trace laser bak to you.

worked great for my poverty spec p80 g19 build. laser point of aim was adjustable and yeah the parallax is all jacked up but is accurate enough for engagement below 15ft. light was bright considering just how section 8 this product really is.

I usually don't give an item 5 stars until I know how it stands the test of time, but I think it's unlikely anything will go wrong with something that has almost no moving parts, and the company deserves accolades for the design and implementation. Appearance and quality are both great, and it's packed with features that all work as they should so far, at a very reasonable price. My only constructive criticism is that I'd prefer the windage & elevation adjustment nut inserts were black rather than gold. Just me...

Pros: Flashlight works pretty good, and fitment was simple and secure (for what it is). Nice small footprint. Cons: Laser was great out of the box, but output dimmed by about 90% upon installation (while fully charged). Laser stopped working completely the day after installation. Would have been 4 stars for the light at this price, but half of the functionality stopped working within 24h of installation, so lost half the stars.
