I loved 'Bone Tomahawk' so needed to watch this made two years later.Totally different and even more violent than that odd western. Vince Vaughn is a good looking man but all that is sacrificed here for his role as a hard man, drug dealer and enforcer and it works with his shaven head and limited dialogue (limited but very effective and cultured).Starts as a thriller but then twists into horror mode in the deep dank prison wing of a heavy duty corrective prison. As in BT from a western town and desert to caves and primitive cave dwellers. The film is stunning but horribly gory in places. Dexter's sister, Jennifer Carpenter, Don Johnson and Udo Kier provide support but it's Mr Vaughn who runs away with the acting credits. The kind of role that Clint Eastwood would play in his worst nightmare.This edition includes English subtitles and a bonus feature.

Vince Vaughn gives possibly the best input any actor has given to a prison-based storyline. I am not entirely sure whether it is his size and presence on screen or his conviction to this role. I enjoyed his performance and recommend this DVD.

Very entertaining movie from start to finish. Unfortunately the paper slip that slips inside the transparent film had a round tear in it because of the cheapo plastic case it was in. Not Amazons fault just the makers cheaping out. I read a review saying this film was stupid and daft but you have to have an imagination like you do with most films. I mean everyone likes the avengers, superman, predator, and the terminator the list is endless. None of them films are going to happen but with alittle imagination all are very enjoyable just like this film it will never happen but great to watch.

Excellent Film/ This Film is about one mans desire to make serious money as a Drugs Courier.He makes onelife changing mistake and is sent to prison. This mans life goes from good to bad to ugly,you should read what this Film is all about,Then make your choice as to watching this Film or not.

Film can be seen as taking a bit slow to build up to what is advertised. But I liked the sloe build up and it used a lot of visual contextual story telling to inform the viewer of who Vince Vaughn is as a character and how the world affects or is affected by him and damn it gets amazingly gory.

I was recommended to watch this film as I had enjoyed the same directors first film Bone Tomahawk. This is just as good with an inevitable feeling of a journey for the main character that cannot end well. Quality filming, but in parts, not for the squeamish! Vince Vaughn as I have never seen him before as an unstoppable wrecking ball of a man. No wonder he is in the same directors next film.
