Q: Does the red plastic feeder section come apart ? I tried twisting the two pieces, but it does not come apart.

If you mean the red and yellow piece that connects to the wider bottom piece then the answer is yes. First twist the glass cylinder off, then put your left palm against the bottom piece and the rotate the top red and yellow piece counterclockwise with your right hand which will separate the 2 sections

Q: Can I buy replacement bottom?

I don't know. It turned out I didn't like this feeder at all, for several reasons, and ended up throwing it away. Sorry I can't help.

Q: Anyone else notice the food will not fill inside the tray? If you tilt it to fill, it leaks?? Anyone ?

I purchased two feeders and one of them leaks terribly, no matter how many times I take it apart and try again. I bought them early in the season and my return window closed before my hummers arrived. They are very pretty and the hummers seem to appreciate the design but as I’ve noted, I only have one fit to use. I just assumed that my mishap was a one off occurrence and did not know that there was a design flaw affecting others. I submitted a review but have not heard from the manufacturer regarding a resolution.
