Special for audio
I did research whether CD Audio were any different from ordinary CDR and it appears so. They are read and play without skipping in my 30-year-old player that is picky about discs, so must be good enough

Very good value ‘music’ type discs. No problems so far.
Very good value and so far faultless on my stand alone Marantz DR6000 CD writer. Note these are ‘music’ or ‘audio’ CD Rs which my machine needs to work. Come on a spindle so have empty jewell cases ready.

Superb for music - best so far.
There is something about these CD's when recording music. Previously (because I had a massive spindle of them) I was using TDK data discs, which to be fair are fine for basic CD players or in the car, but my audiophile CD player struggled to read these, quite often displaying "No Disc". The Maxells' however just work. The top end is a lot smoother, noticably so, and I did realise that a CD could make that much difference. Perhaps the DACS in the CD player don't have to work so hard....?? Not one CD has failed yet.I will carry on using these over any other disc for music and would recommend these if you want reliable audio discs.

Perfect Audio Reproduction
I have bought these discs before and I have to say that they have always worked perfectly and given super crisp sound refroduction on my Hi Fi System. I have never experienced any problems with them. Mainly, I use them to record or transfer vinyl on to my Teac CD Recorder, but occassionally I have used them to record downloads on my computer. Late last year,I used these particular CD's to record some music for a presentation that I was doing in Holland. The CD's were then played over the sound system in a large Theatre in Utrecht and I was absolutely amazed at the sound quality. Even the Theatre technitions were impressed, So, I think you would agree, that it has to say something about the quality of these discs!
