this chess set really is value for money, I found the chemical smell that some people complained about vanished after a couple of days

Portable club size set
This portable club sized set is good and nice to take with you wherever you go .My only criticism of the set is that because it is formed the quality of mould lines and finish isn't what it could be.It is however cheap and if you had any experience in model making these lines could be eliminated in an hour or so.If attention to this detail doesn't bother you then all is good.Another good point is the addition of two extra queens which will help for pawn promotion or loss of a piece.

Love this set, moulding aren't great and it does smell for a few days. For the price tho really good

Exactly as described!
I was unlucky and my parcel was delayed due to Brexit but that is not the sellers fault. The product was excellent and met my expectations and it was exactly as described. The only negative that I found was the smell of plastic but left the pieces and the board in the open for a couple of days and the smell went away so not a big deal in my books.

Fairly low quality/finish
The finish on this item is fairly poor. The felt stickers on the bottom were not even put on properly for about 10 of the pieces (hanging off or really off centre). These stickers also have a design flaw as the bottoms of the pieces are not flat, so the stick sits deep into the hole at the bottom, with no way of properly sticking.The plastic is of poor to adequate quality and as many have stated there is an extremely strong smell solvent from the mat.Positives: The size is good, as is the carry case, and the aesthetic of the board is fine. I guess for this size and prices you have to expect quality to not be great.
