Andalou Naturals 1000 ROSES® Biome Balancing Day Cream

I've tried a lot of moisturizers over the years. I'm in my 50s and have olive skin. I don't have fine lines or wrinkles But in the last couple of years I have had some mild rosacea. I love Creme de la Mer But it's a bit pricey to use regularly. My skin is normal to very mildly dry. If I wash my face and don't put moisturizer on, it doesn't feel dry or tight. But I do like the way it feels when I use it. I like to put serums on underneath. And let those dry. And then put moisturizer on. I love this moisturizer because it feels rich but it's not heavy. And it absorbs into the skin. Fake perfumey scents are awful but this has the scent of rose petals or rose essential oil. It's subtle, or rather, I can smell it but unless someone kisses your face I don't think they would. So it feels creamy and it's moisturizing, but it's not heavy and it doesn't sit on the skin. It works great with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serums. Also, I use a primer over it And it absorbs well, allowing the primer to absorb also. If you don't like the scent of rose petals, you probably wouldn't like it. But again, this is a natural scent, not a fake perfumey scent. I think it's a great deal and love it

Fragrance is very light. Cream is lightweight and glides on easily. My skin is very sensitive. There is no irritation. Natural beauty ctream.

You can't go wrong with this brand, tried many of their products! This one is a fabulous day cream that will work with most skin-types. It has a good amount of rose scent so if you don't like scents, avoid this one.The biggest "pro" to this day cream is that it moisturizes & then dries down to a normal feel, no greasiness left behind. Your makeup will go on nicely on top or it will leave your skin perfect if you wanna go without makeup. Moisturized but not shiny.If you have dry skin: depending on the level of dryness, this may or may not be for you. If you have normal to SLIGHTLY dry, you should be fine. If you have medium-severe dry skin, than no this won't give you enough moisture. Try the Goji blend or Pumpkin in this line. Goji being my fave for severe dry skin.

This is the first review I have ever written! I am so disappointed with the new 1000 roses day crème formula! I have used this product for years and absolutely loved it! The original formula was soft and silky and was a perfect base under foundation allowing it to flow and blend smoothly. And the rose smell was heavenly! The new product is a different color and texture, has a very unpleasant smell and is sticky when applied, soaks right in and feels very drying and irritating.I ordered a second jar thinking the first was defective, but the second was just as terrible! I cannot imagine why Andalou thought this replacement product would please their customers! Please bring back the old formula! I will be throwing away the 2 jars I ordered and will not buy again unless the old formula returns. So disappointing….

I am really happy with the 1000 Roses Beautiful Day Cream by Andalou Naturals. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I haven't been using it very long. I may update this review after I've used it for a few months. I have been making the move to more natural cosmetics, and I am very pleased with this find. It has a wonderful light rose scent. I have always been a fan of rose scented products, but sometimes they can be pretty strong. This one is just right. It can smell it while I am applying the cream, but it dissipates soon after. The cream is light and non-greasy. I know some people have said that the cream was too light and they needed more moisture. I am a 25 year old female, and this was a perfect amount of moisture for me. It goes on wonderfully and absorbs quickly. My skin feels well nourished for most of the day. I will be buying again, and I am anxious to try the other products in the line.

I discovered Andalou about 6yrs ago and have been in love with their products ever since. The 1000 Roses line is THE BEST for sensitive, dry but sometimes oily skin. A little goes a long way too so you definitely get your money’s worth! I love that the scent isn’t very strong either, just smells like faint fresh roses. Goes extremely well under foundation too (which I’ve always struggled with as most cause makeup separation) so that’s a huge plus for me. If you have crazy sensitive skin and are debating trying this line, do it. You won’t regret it! Every product I’ve tried from their 1000 Roses line has been amazing. I also used a few other products from their other lines as well, like masks and beauty oils. I love love love this company!

I've gotten to the bottom of the jar - it lasted me about 3 months - so I figured I'd come write a review for this mostly mediocre product. I'll start by saying that I bought the foaming cleanser from the same line at the same time I bought this moisturizer and I was pretty disappointed to find that the moisturizer did NOT have the same lovely smell as the foaming cleanser. It's been 3 months of using this moisturizer daily and I honestly still have not been able to pinpoint what the slightly odd smell of this is. It's not gross smelling or gag-inducing or anything...it's just odd.Anyway, this is definitely a day cream, meaning it's very light and absorbs easily so I guess that's a plus unless you have really dry skin in which case it probably won't be enough for you. That's kind of it though...I didn't notice any other benefits from this moisturizer after using it for 3 months. It didn't seem to make me break out, but it didn't brighten my skin or improve my skin texture or control oiliness either.So in conclusion, I won't be buying this product again...especially since I paid like $18 for it...yeah, nope.
