GreenWorks 5210902 15" Extension Included Surface Cleaner, Green

I bought this to clean the mold/mildew from my concrete driveway. I already own a Greenworks Pro pressure washer so this was a great attachment for it. I gave it 5 stars because it did what it was supposed to do for my relatively short driveway (less than 20 feet. HOWEVER, if you have a bigger job, I recommend purchasing one of the washer attachments that have wheels underneath it. The spinning pressure nozzles do a lot of the work, but this one does not have wheels to assist in rolling it around so the scrub brushes rest directly on the concrete making is difficult to push or pull it across the concrete. This makes it hard on the back and arms to keep it moving.

Works great with our power washer for our long driveway! No issues after many uses! Great choice!

I've used this a couple of times for cleaning concrete and it is effective at providing a smooth cleaning if it is moved slowly. I found a 40 degree spray to be quicker, and just as effective if you are methodical. I'm sure if all you did was clean large smooth areas or flagstone or concrete it would be necessary. Unfortunately that isn't my use case.I did have difficulty getting it to stay connected initially, as the nipple for the quick disconnect is so short it allows the extension to press against the body of the unit. That makes the quick disconnect activate and ejects the cleaner. Keeping the wand more vertical solved that issue, but reduces the range of motion.

Amazed! This product is simply amazing. I’ve been cleaning my driveway with my electric power washer 3 inches at a time this thing cut my time to about a fourth. It worked extremely well. You don’t need casters on it. You push it forward and it has so much water under it just slides and when you pull it back if you just slightly lift, it’s effortless. This product is well made, and sturdy. This product was worth every penny I paid for it. I am so glad I found it.

OMG, excellent product, my concrete patio looks brand new. The best part i only used water to do so. Great for the environment, no chemicals used.

I got this surface cleaner to use with my Greenworks 2700 PSI electric pressure washer. I wish I had gotten a surface cleaner years ago!I tried it on a concrete driveway, a couple of concrete pads that had some serious moss growth, a redwood deck, and a natural stone walkway.Greenworks isn't exaggerating when they say the surface cleaner is five times faster than a regular spray tip. It is not only much faster, but it resulted in a much more even cleaning than using a spray tip.It would remove minor moss growth if I went over the area more than once, and even removed ~1/2" thick moss if I gave it enough time, but I found a better approach was to use the turbo nozzle to remove the moss, then the surface cleaner to clean the rest of the surface. It went much faster that way. On surfaces that weren't moss-covered, the surface cleaner did a great job on its own.There was no over-spray, even on the uneven, natural stone walkway.I have never used any other surface cleaner, so I don't have direct experience to draw on, but I think this one is ideal for a homeowner. It's light enough that it floats over concrete surfaces easily, but if you were working with a really large area, you might want a surface cleaner with wheels. On the other hand, the fact that this one is so light and maneuverable made it possible for me to do the stairs on the deck and to get closer into corners, which I suspect would be difficult if not impossible with some of the other surface cleaners.The Greenworks 15" Surface Cleaner appears to be made well, and has a brush skirt that keeps it off the surface you're cleaning. It looks like the skirt is replaceable, though I have not looked on the Greenworks site to see if it's offered.The 12" extension the surface cleaner comes with is a great addition; it puts the cleaner exactly the right distance from me while I'm using it. There were no leaks, and it was easy to rinse the dirt out of the cleaner after use.If you're looking for a well-made, useful addition for a pressure washer up to 3100 PSI to clean a variety of flat surfaces, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this Greenworks product.
