Hello, no it does not need to be refrigerated. I have had mine sitting out for months on the counter and they are fine.

I've never used them in this fashion but I would suppose it would work but it is very sweet so I would use sparingly at first.

Tastes more like lemon-lime

I purchased this to add to iced tea. As soon as I opened it I told my husband it smelled like Sundrop soda. It's definitely not a pure lemon flavor, it tastes more like a lemon-lime syrup. It's not bad tasting, it just wasn't what I was expecting and didn't really work for iced tea.

I use these sugar free syrups to flavor my plain ZOI Greek yogurt and I love the Lemon flavor. If it's a bit tart I just add a small amount of artificial sweetener or some berries and I'm good to go for my low-carb treat.
