First impressions look good..
On first impressions, this Fosmon LP-E8 seems to have been a wise purchase. It seems as well built as the original Canon battery or the other leading brands. It was partially charged from the box and only took a short charge to get it fully charged for its first use. I have to say, the initial results were very good. I was impressed to see that after taking around 150 photos the battery was still showing full on the LCD. Even after copying the photos to PC and then leaving the camera in its bag for a few days the battery shows full. I am going to award this battery with maximum ratings (for now). I am sceptical about longevity having purchased a Duracell LP-08 a few years ago only for it to lose its charge after around 1000 photos. For now though, all seems good for a battery that is around one quarter of the cost of a Canon battery. I will update this review in the future on any changes whilst using this battery!

Replaement battery for Canon Camera
Bought this replacement for our Canon digital camera. Fitted perfectly charged quickly and is working fine. Time will tell if it regarding longevity and ability to hold a charge. Arrived within 2 days.
