Nightmare to fit
The product comes with sticky arrows to help take the backing off, unfortunately they don't work very well a second time, if like me, I needed to do 2 panes of glass with one roll. The plastic is very easily cut and can rip and static is a nightmare for airborne bits getting stuck. After saying all that, IF you use loads of soapy water and manage to get it on, it works very well and it's very difficult for anyone on the outside to see inside your house in the daytime. Although normal viewing is supposed to resume if you have a light on inside, I tried it last night and it was still harder to see anyone inside, so it was well worth the trouble. Note.. it does make your room alot darker.

Great Product
8 weeks reviewGreat product, totally worth the price.Easy to apply one handed, provided you WATCH guidance videos on YouTube and do it slowly and carefully and once the backing sheet is removed it tends to curl and stick onto itself, which then becomes a nightmare.Picture attached shows the difference and this product has significantly reduced heat inside the flat specially during these summer months in our west facing 5th floor flat.

was a little all over the place with this one..
arrived, had a kink throughout the entire roll, so it wouldn't be able to go on the window flat.Arranged a refund and collection, 3 times waiting in for evri to say "couldn't find the address" (my house is perfectly viewable and easy to find)I was told to keep it or throw it away and ill keep the refund.I ended up cutting a small square out of the undamaged area (to see if it would work to order more in hopes it wasn't damaged)I tested this on my sons small window, i thought it was doing well (i scrubbed the window clean and followed instructions) and after a few weeks it just slowly peels off. Maybe a strong cleaning chemical can help clean the glass enough for this to stay on, but sadly I dont, so it just peels off.So i wont be buying anymore.

Looks OK but don't fit on windows with direct sunlight
I bought this to try and cut down the heat in my westerly facing study in the afternoon. The film was reasonably easy to install, you need to make sure the glass is spotless before install and be patient with the install. I ended up with a few bits on the window but even then it didn't look bad from my office chair. When fitted looked great and certainly cut down on the ambient light and was difficult to see in from outside. As for cutting down the heat, absolutely not, I've taken pictures of the same internal mullion on my study window and lounge window, both windows are the same angle to the sun taken within minutes. The panel in the lounge shows 36.4ºC, the study window with the film installed 61.1ºC!The window feels like a radiator. I've taken the film off and will try some silver film instead hoping that will reflect more heat. The removal wasn't too bad but has left some residue that will need to be cleaned off once the sun is not on it.The dark film is great for privacy but not good on a window that gets direct sunlight, might be worth it in winter though as the film could absorb some heat from the winter sun

Limo tint
Great product. Excellent value for money. I've fitted this before but didn't read the instructions. Only after I'd fitted it did i notice the instructions said remove adhesive film, just to let you know, there is none on the black film, maybe there is on the mirror tint, just if you waste time trying to separate it for no reason on the black. I cut the film to a rough oversize, thoroughly cleaned the glass inside, sprayed both the film and glass with soapy water, I gently wiped across the film as it can attract dust with static charge, a gentle wipe will remove particles as this will affect the finished item forming tiny air pockets. For best results use a felt edged squeegee used for vinyl wrapping and gently work the bubbles out from the centre of each window in a radial manner (the curl of the roll was fitted facing the window, to prevent the edges lifting) gently wipe dry an trim edges carefully with craft knife or blade. As expected the inside of the vehicle will darken, but we couldn't see in to the vehicle even with the light on. Highly recommended.

Worked very well in heatwave is a pain to apply
OFHome One Way Window FilmThese Windows film did exactly what i wanted them to do during the heatwave and that was to keep the rays of sun out of my main room. I have an issue within my home regarding heat so even before the heatwave it could be 20 degrees outside and near 30 on the inside and ive had reading of near 45 in the past. While trying to find solution to least help the situation i have a air con machine however i dont want to use this all the time due to the running cost so with the black out curtains, blinds and windows film the room temperture stayed at a cool 32 considering here it was 41 today so i would considering it did in fact keep the room from getting even warmer. The con's of this though is applying the film in the first place and Ive done this type of thing before and its still a pain in the backside to do lucky the adhesion was good enough i had to redo one window 2 times because i struggled a line it correctly. If you know someone then let them fit this for you.The window also will become extremely hot as well so don't place your hand when its in direct sunlight it will burn so if you have kids bewareBeing black it does cut out a lot of light which is great for summers day however come winter your being using more electric because the room will be darker. Its like having UV protection on your glasses or imagine wearing glasses at night you can't see out so be mindful where you apply the film.Pro's being if you want privacy this during the day time will give you great privacy as no one can see in. The windows on the outside look completely black however, when light is applied on the inside the people on the outside can see in.I did find it kept the room cooler by blocking out the rays at least by a couple of degrees.Overall there great for the summer months im not so sure come winter.
