Superb machine for its price !
Excellent machine for a very good price. Totally worth the money! Performance since I have bought it [ 3-5 months] is superb and very reliable. So easy to thread up and use. Ideal if like me you do your own alterations [menswear) or repair clothing! Goes through denim.or canvas double triple layers without issue I found .

Must buy.
Heavy, sturdy, great sewer. At first it was slow, then it got faster and whizzes along. Easy to use and navigate. Wouldn't be without it. Even a beginner could use this with ease.I feel confident that it will tackle all my sewing projects.

Upset and disappointed
I am so disappointed in this machine. So far the needle position is wrong so the centre is not the centre and it keeps skipping stitches every inch 2 ins or so. I have done the troubleshooting for this multiple times and tried with alternative fabrics to my standard easy cotton and still it persists. I've rethreaded, changed and reset the bobbin but no.Also it has 2 speeds, off and warp speed. For me this does not give you any control whatsoever when potentially ( I say that as I haven't managed to get more than 2 ins of stitching out of it ) you'd need to go slower for precision.I've walked away from it to breathe. Perhaps I got a dodgy one, I don't know but either wayI'm afraid I'm going to have to send this machine back, which is a shame as it was one I had my eye on for a while. Now to deal with that faff!Sorry Singer, you have let me down. Back to my 12yr old Toyota machine which still works, just wanted an upgrade.

Great value, powerful motor
Works well, the motor purrs along smoothly when sewing . The auto needle threader is great.Great value for money. Bought this version rather than the more expensive computerised version as less electronics to go wrong.

Happy sewing
This sewing machine works well. It has been a year and I love using it for various sewing projest, like making bags from.old denims etc. Easy to use all functions, it has a proper weight. Great value for money.

Great Machine
This machine is fantastic. So easy to use and goes through many more layers of fabric than an ordinary home machine.
