I have been using the treatment on my cat for several weeks now, i usually give her around 4ml in a little medicine syringe. She was hit by a car December 2012 and had several operations to put her back together, she had a broken leg, dislocated hip and her pelvis had shifted up her spine. It took a long time and lots of metal work but she managed to get back on good legs, we say shes got magic legs, like forrest gump. She can now do everything a normal cat can do, i thought shed never jump again but shes a spring chicken!Anyway with the operations she had her fur shaved off around her lower half and it gradually grew back. We gave her first flea treatment as an adult cat and she suddenly became covered in scabs all over her back end, she would lick furiously and pull her fur out, since then we have never used flea treatment again, the scabs went away but she still seem to just lick for hours and all night shed pull her fur out of the base of her tail and around her back legs and spine. We know she has been uncomfortable. Weve tried alot of different things, changing diet, bathing, flea sprays, we even put a collar on her for a week, which did help the fur grow back but she hated the collar and was miserable with it.. no sooner would we take the collar off then shed be at it again, pulling fur out.I was looking for a home treatment for fleas on amazon as i dont know what eles to do and I saw this product for skin and coat allergies and read a couple of reviews and it seemd to be very similar if not exactly what was going on with our little Luna. So i have given it a try. I started on a small dose but as ive said i now give her 4ml daily. I do believe it helps in reliving the itching as she spend alot less time licking and pulling fur, although it hasnt made the problem disappear i do think it has helped. I missed a dose one day and she was up all night licking endlessly. So like i say i think the prodcut helped though i am still searching for a definate fix, i would like my cat to have a furry bottom again.I will continue to use the product and will reccommend it to my friends and family or to anyone i hear of with similar problems.I havent got a before or after photo for the product but i assure you its helped. I purchased this for my 10 years old longhair cat who has been licking himself on his tummy and hind legs so much that the skin is bare.I had tryed everything..oils, steroidsinjections, homeopathic but nothing. I have been putting 1ml of the oil into a syringe (without the needle)and I gave to him in the mouth each morning after meal.He does not like the taste because he is very fussy and I am giving battle every morning to swallow it but there has been a litle improvement after three weeks of use. I will update this review.The second foto is after one month of use.He is better now and I am feeling better too.

I love the product and ordered 2 bottles,Great job for dogs though, improves coat including dry/scaly skin and seems to help mobility on old dog, I would buy again as all dogs now have brilliant coats and my 12 year old that recently had cruciate surgery is walking well with a scurf free shiny coat. The other 3 also look great and youngest got 3 placings at recent championship show. No upset stomachs and no awful smell, also the fussy old dog happily eats this but can't tolerate salmon oil. Only a small amount needed but would love to see a bigger bottle or a discount for multi buys. Intend to keep using and would recommend to anyone with a dog with skin and mobility issues as this works better than other products I have tried.

I put it in my dog`s food but my dog stopped eating after the second try. She is eating well without this oil on her food.

I've given this product three stars because I've got nothing against it, but it hasn't made any difference to my dog as yet. But he is a rescue dog and was in a fairly sorry state when he came to me as he had been mistreated prior to being rescued. He's a Westie, who often seem to suffer from skin problems. His main problem seems to be in his ears. I took him to the vet who gave me some drops to put in, but made no difference at all to his scratching. I'll continue with this product from Broadreach and hope that my poor little dog gets some relief from his itching. I've just read a review from another Westie owner who has used this directly on his dog's skin, rather than mixed with his food, which is what I've been doing. Maybe the seller could comment on whether this product is intended to be taken with food or applied to the affected area.

This is the second bottle I have ordered. Last year my dog a Lurcher x had a very bad allergy reaction her stomach was very sore looking she scratched so much she made her self bleed and her fur started to look thin. Visits to the vets resulted in steroid creams , tablets etc big bills and did not completely cure the condition. Through the winter months it seemed to disappear. This summer the scratching returned I noticed small patches of fur loss. I saw your product and thought I would give it a try before taking her to the vets again. Within a very short time the scratching had stopped I am so pleased as there is nothing worse then thinking your pet may be suffering. My only question is ,is it safe to give this product daily to my dog through out the year or should I give her a break in the winter months ? Once again thank-you it has definitely saved us a lot of money in vet bills !!!!!

Cats would not eat their food with this on. Tried mixing with smelly fish food, but they could still detect it. Had to chuck in the end.

Having tried the vet's treatments for our dog's coat that had suddenly become dry and flaky in patches - eventually diagnosed as a yeast problem - we mixed this oil in the dog's food. We used it at 2/3rd recommended dose and four weeks later it has made a significant improvement to the dog's coat. I should say we are also using a very mild fungal/bacterial shampoo twice weekly. However the combination of the two is a noticeable improvement of the dog's skin/coat. The taste is apparently not unpleasant when added to our dog's feed and does not affect his appetite - we have ordered a further bottle.
