Great budget controller, impeccable quality for the price!
As a gamer who has been using a Logitech F310 for my PC controller needs for over a decade, when the buttons started to quit working one by one, I knew it was time to get another controller. The controller scene has changed a lot since a decade ago, and after looking on reddit for recommendations I settled on the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless and it has not disappointed. The ergonomics are superb and it just feels like a high quality controller when you hold it. I've had zero issues with connecting to my PC or phone and it holds a charge for a surprising amount of time! The only negative thing about this controller, is that you cannot just buy a Charging Dock later on by itself if you want one; you'll need to purchase another controller entirely that has it bundled together. This is not a deal-breaker or anything so I will not deduct any points but I hope 8BitDo will start offering their Charging Docks by themselves!!Overall, if you are looking for a new controller for your PC - look no further. This one will not disappoint.

Surprisingly Excellent – Budget Controller That Feels Premium
I bought the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller on a whim, expecting it to be a decent secondary controller—but it quickly became my go-to for everything from PC gaming to emulators on my Steam Deck. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it feels in hand. Despite being lightweight, it doesn’t feel cheap. The matte texture provides a solid, almost velvety grip, and the buttons have a satisfying tactile click. The analog sticks are smooth and responsive, rivaling controllers that cost twice as much.Connectivity is seamless. I use it wirelessly on my PC via the included dongle and have experienced zero latency issues, even during fast-paced games like Hades and Rocket League. It also pairs instantly with my Android tablet via Bluetooth—no fussing with settings or drivers.Battery life is impressive. After a full charge, I’ve played multiple multi-hour sessions over a week without needing to recharge. The USB-C port is a nice touch for fast charging and future proofing. What really sets this controller apart is the customization provided by 8BitDo’s Ultimate software. I didn’t expect that level of control in a mid-range model—button remapping, stick sensitivity adjustments, and trigger response curves—all accessible through a clean, easy-to-use app.Honestly, this feels like a controller made by gamers, for gamers. Whether you're playing indie titles, retro games, or modern hits, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C delivers performance well beyond its price point.

Reliable controller that looks good
I got this controller after the trigger on my old one broke. This one has a lot of available color schemes that all look good, and I chose the mint/orange. The buttons are all clicky, except for the trigger buttons that are just linear. The D-pad importantly isn't mushy like some other controllers, and it provides a nice tactile feel when pressed. The controller has good, strong rumble. The outer shell feels decent and not cheap and hollow like my old controller, and the joysticks have nice grips. The size is a bit smaller though, about the size of a Switch Pro controller joystick grip. I was decently surprised by the metal connecting the joysticks to the body of the controller, which looks high-quality. The 2.4G connector has no latency when I connect it to my PC, but I haven't tried it on my Switch or on Bluetooth mode. Overall, a great product!

One of the best controllers that falls behind due to being just too small
I think this is one of the best controllers in general. I am really impressed how high quality this little guy is. The buttons are clicky and responsive, and has some of the best bumpers/triggers I've ever used. I really love where the extra buttons are placed, this is the first controller that i actually liked having the extra buttons on it. Most times these extra buttons get in the way or just overlap already in use buttons making them redundant, but these are above and beyond. Now it would be a 5 star if it wasn't for 2 things.. the size of the controller, and the joysticks. The size for smaller hands is probably perfect, however I have pretty big hands. I can comfortably hold a ps5 controller, but this one is just abit too small for my liking. The joysticks are also too small and alot of times with shooters i was over aiming because they are just abit too tiny for precise responses. I played a handful of games with this controller as its mostly my new goto one but games where you do alot of inputs like Tony Hawk really show how many times it can misinput due to size.I also have issues with it connecting to the Switch 2, despite having it updated and everything, but I don't think thats 8BITDOs fault at all.

Great controller.
Love this controller. It feels good to hold, it looks good and functions as expected. Being able to switch between wired, 2.4ghz and Bluetooth makes it perfect, because I can leave to 2.4ghz dongle in my PC at home, since it doesn't have Bluetooth, and I can toss it in my laptop bag without worry about needing the dongle, since my laptop does have Bluetooth, and I can always fall back on the cord if need be.

Great controller for the price.
Got this for my steam deck since I was getting tired of switching between my ps5 controller from the deck to the ps5. It’s very comfortable to hold in the hands. Plays really good with a variety of games and overall solid controller. Definitely recommend for pc players and steam deck players as well

Fantastic little PC controller
Shockingly good controller for the price. I bought it mainly to use with my Steam Deck when I have it docked, but I was surprised how much better the hall sensor sticks felt vs. the potentiometer based ones on Xbox controllers. If you don't mind using the USB adapter and don't need gyro controls, this is plenty good enough.
