This is a great clock for kids. The clock is bright and very easy to setup; however, not so much for seniors who need reminders of date/day.

Fit the need for a spare / emergency awake alarm. Nice features include dimmable clock display & night light on top offers multiple colors that are also dimmable. 5 alarm sounds offer good sound choices. Custom enough but basic enough that it is not overwhelming. Good value.

I bought this alarm clock because it had multiple sound choices. I use one of the music ones, which is quite peaceful. If I put the sound on low, I (a light sleeper) will wake up, but no one else does. The buttons are sufficiently intuitive that I didn't need to read any manual to use it. It's nice that there are two different alarms in case you want to set a different one for the weekend, for example.The clock would be pretty perfect if the display were red numbers instead of white. I knew it wasn't, but I underestimated how much more bothersome white light is than red light. I appreciate that the display can be dimmed, so I dim it enough that the light doesn't bother me. That means I end up with a very dark clock that can be hard to read.All in all, if you don't mind white light, I still recommend this one!

For several years now, I've been using an alarm clock radio by this manufacturer that has turned out to be the best of its kind I've ever had. It has a highly legible display; settings for time, day, and outside temperature; a snooze button; USB ports; a dual alarm system that allows you to set different times for weekdays and weekends; and a full menu of alarm sounds to accommodate anyone's choice.We've now replaced our bedside tables, though, and I needed an even more compact alarm clock for the new space. Although it doesn't have a radio or shows the daily temperature, neither of those is a deal-breaker for me, and the features in this model more than make up for their absence, since the quality of the basics makes it a wonderful purchase. After all, in addition to having other sources for radio and weather, I'm still using my original clock, just not in my bedroom, where this model now takes pride of place and in a more compact model.I've become quite a fan and supporter for this manufacturer and certainly look forward to continuing being their customer. This alarm clock is easy to use, the menu of wake-up sounds should accommodate anyone's choice, its color display allows you the option of both color and intensity, it has a battery back-up system, and on and on.Importantly, though, I'd like to offer a corrective: Don't fall for the description because this isn't an alarm clock only for children or teens but an all-around, efficient, attractive, effective choice that will work for all ages.Highly, highly recommended.

Absolutely love this clock! Exactly what I was looking for. Does not take up a lot of space. Hubby goes to bed earlier than me so the night light is perfect for coming in the room and not disturbing him. Has several brightness levels as well which helps depending on the room size. I on the other hand cannot sleep with a light in the room so once I go to bed I can turn off the night light and turn down the display to very low or completely off which was the main reason I purchased the clock. The clock is very easy to program. The snooze and night light button is larger than all the other buttons so easy to find in the dark. Almost forgot, I love being able to choose what color night light I want or just put it where is rotates through all the colors. I highly recommend!

Love the alarm especially that you can dim the light so it’s not so bright at night. I like that you can decide how loud you want the alarm and set two different alarms. I recommend it.

I really liked the look of the alarm. The night light colors is a nice addition. Normally the alarm sounds are so "alarming" but there were 2 nice ones that were much more calming to wake up to. I love the dimming feature for night time so the ambient light is decreased. The alarms are easy to set and the time is easy to set.My only negative is that there is no radio. My boys like to wake up to music and it can be a much calmer way to come out of sleep than to an alarm sound.Great alarm clock though with many great conveniences.
