This is a good set to buy if you are just getting into locksport, it gives you a good selection of picks, including wafer picks and rakes, though there were a couple of doublers in the set. A few of the picks are also tarnishing a little in places but a quick rub with some wet and dry will sort that out, and considering the wide variety, the price is pretty reasonable compared to other pick sets. The metal isn't the best quality, but if you look after them they will last, I've now been using these for months and my standard hook is still going strong.Edit 2019 - these have long since been replaced, but I thought I would revisit this review 4 years later, now that I have much more experience with picking.I would still definitely recommend these for beginners, the quality isn't perfect, but considering the price they're a bargain, it doesn't matter if you're a little heavy handed while learning, I'd rather bend and break one of these than much more expensive picks, they do the job required with no significant problems. However, there is definitely still a few downsides. First of all, many of the picks in the set were too thick to actually be useful outside of very basic Master Locks, but there were a few in thinner metal that I had no problem picking more challenging locks like an Abus with. Also, they will start to curve slightly over time, but I just had to bend it back into shape and it would be fine, in all the time I was using them (more than a year) I never snapped a single one due to metal fatigue.Feedback isn't too bad on them, comparing them to more expensive picks there's a clear difference, but it's definitely enough for a beginner, I can still use the few I still have and get a good idea of what's going on inside the lock. There's also a selection of auto picks, I have never used them though so can't really give an opinion on themTo summarise, I would still recommend these for a first lock picking set, you won't need to worry about snapping an expensive pick and they still do the job well enough, but once you start to get a little better and your touch lightens up I would recommend moving on to some better picks. However, many of the rakes and dimple picks are still in my collection and get used regularly, so once you've improved all you really need to buy is a few hooks from a better company (Mad Bob is great (edit - Mad Bob has sadly now closed down, but you can get another company's copy of their pick set from Amazon, which is probably one of the reasons they had to close down in the first place but since they're no longer around this is the best alternative, it's called the Praxis set, they're a little rougher than the originals but a little time with some wet and dry will have them almost exactly the same)) and a few different sizes of tension wrench and you'll have a great set

Wont Last
these are not for a proper locksmith but rather for someone who just wants to play. the majority will never be used. Most of the useful ones broke. worst thing was is these braking in a customers keyhole while your on the job. So for me a waste of money get a pro kit checkout Bosnian Bill for good reviews on Youtube. Also a headache trying to fit in the bag they came with.

This has a good selection of picks
This has a good selection of picks, rakes and tension wrenches. The case can carry most of the selection. Although I did manage to snap a pick in a training lock about a week or so after delivery, the seller was happy to send a replacement and they did so quickly. It's still my favourite set with the comfortable rubber grips and I've not had another break as of yet.

Good starter set for the price, ditch the wafer rakes
Not a bad set for the price, you get a wide selection of picks, although as expected with cheap lock pick sets there's a lot of stuff to just bulk up the numbers. So to begin, there's a good selection of standard and medium hooks, most of which are quite usable, some a little big, and two of them are so spindly you wouldn't pick your lunch with let alone a lock. The selection of rakes is decent, these get away with being that bit bigger and can even benefit from it, this set includes a a city rake, snake rake, and an s rake, all work decently and will blow most cheap locks out of the water. The set also includes two dimple picks, and a dimple rake. The picks again, are quite large which doesn't help their case, and almost square shafts which is certainly not ideal for the twisting motion used when dimple picking. The rake works well, but then again a dimple lock that you can rake won't be up to much anyway. After that we have a snowman and half snowman pick, great for cabinet/wafer locks, a half and double half diamond for zipping, these all function well. The set comes with several bottom of the keyway tension tools, no real complains to made here, but some top of the keyway tensioners would be good.Overall for the price it's a good set, at least half the set is dual fork wafer picks for old car locks which certainly won't be missed when their removed from your kit allowing you to close the pouch for a change. Needless to say they aren't going to get you into any modern car locks, and in my experience I have found a snowman pick much better for getting wafer locks open.As you might expect from the price the steel in the picks isn't great, they bend quite easily if you use anything more than light tension to pick, and i've broken two of the hooks so far from fatigue. They also aren't full tang due to the plastic construction, so the feedback from the pick isn't the best, but again for the price not bad.
