Its a good movie and all the JP Fanboys are mad that it is
CRETACEOUS CUT: Before I start I wanna say that with the Blu-Ray version you can watch a version called the Cretaceous Cut. Its basically the same thing as the regular movie but no Voice Actors, humans, or ending credits. It just jumps straight to the film. Although they took out most parts of the voice overs, the music and that one scene with the Gorgosaurus are still there, but that can be overlooked. If you have a PS4 like I do it comes with a Blu-Ray player so you should have no problem watching.I genuinely like this movie. The only reason this movie flopped was the title. The original Walking with Dinosaurs was made by BBC and was a documentary style show. This movie is a family film directed towards young audiences that can be fun for the whole family. All the people who left bad reviews are just mad that it isn't like the documentary. As for the movie itself, it showed dinosaurs in one of the most realistic ideals I have ever since in a movie that was in such high quality. The detail and work that went into bringing these animals to life is phenomenal. The dinosaurs that should have feathers and filaments have them. The animals had great vocalizations that felt natural and not out of place at all.The landscape of the film was spectacular and perfect for the natural enviornment of these animals in particular; most films and documentaries usually use a more tropical or arid landscape to film and seeing a northern film shot used was a breath of fresh air.Even though it wasn't a documentary, there are so many snippets and details packed that you can see the ecology, life cycle, and behavior of the pachyrhinosaurs. You saw nesting behavior, herd behavior, dominance and fighting, sexual dimorphism, growth, and even dirt rolling. And if you know a little about fossils in Alaska, you'll know that there is a pit of fossils full of thousands of Pachyrhinosaur bones that were found together. The possible cause of mass death was mass drowning. There are two scenes in this movie that feature water and the dangers it poses to the herd.Overall, its an amazing movie, probably the best out there in terms of realism and detail. Its almost bittersweet that it flopped, because now you can get a Blu-Ray copy for cheap.

Perfect for thew whole family!
After being introduced to this movie via our local library our dino obsessed toddlers fell in love with this movie. They loved it so much we decided to buy a copy for the house. The graphics are pretty impresses. The movie shares accurate dinosaur facts and it has a plot line that is enjoyable for all ages. There are many different hidden details and a pretty good sound track. This purchase has paid for it self several times!

Walking with dinosaurs
I recently watched *Walking with Dinosaurs* with my 2-year-old grandson, and I can’t express how much we both enjoyed it! It's incredible to see how captivated he was by the film, and honestly, I found it just as entertaining.

Cretaceous cut Review
First off, I'm not reviewing the theatrical version as it is a insult to the original series, and I'm sure others have already seen it and agreed that it was a travesty, so in this review, I will refer to it as the Travesty Cut.The Cretaceous Cut however is pretty darn good, as there is no Dialogue whatsoever, and you are allowed to watch the animals without any annoying voices,(There are still pop songs in film, but I personally like them), the animation in the film is just superb, and the dinosaurs are some of the best I've seen in any movie, and there a lot more enjoyable in the cretaceous cut. The one dinosaur I like the best is Alex the Alexornis. He is beautifully rendered and has a vivid color scheme plus(IMO) his actions and sounds make him kind of cute, that isn't to say the other dinosaurs are inferior, I just found him to be the best. The Cretaceous cut is not Flawless. Some things that were apart of the original film just don't go well with this cut. When the Villain(a Gorgosaurus is first introduced it cuts into a sequence were In the original travesty cut, Alex explains about how Gorgosaurus was a mean predator while making fun of the size of its arms. in the Cretaceous cut, its still there, only there's no one doing the explaining. Another moment that makes this film flawed is a scene were the Main characters fall into a river, and then it rewinds. I know why they did that in the original travesty cut, but here, it just gives a hiccup to the whole experience. I wished they removed that and the Gorgosaurus scene to make this perfect, then again they probably didn't give a **** because they thought stupid things like thatWould make money in the Travesty Cut.Now for everyone's information, the Blu-ray disk in this edition Does play on regular Blu-ray players, and no you don't need a 3D tv to see it properly. I highly recommend you all buy this Edition Just for the cretaceous cut, Even if you don't have a Blu-ray player, I still think you should buy it for in case you will ever obtain one, the cretaceous cut is worth the price
