Though most functions operate smoothly, the 'start' button on Google Maps occasionally demands 2-3 touches, yet it seamlessly integrates with my iPhone.The sound quality is impressive, transmitting audio via Bluetooth to the Navara's excellent audio system. It’s truly remarkable, as it enables me to utilize my iPhone’s features without the need to handle the device while driving. What stands out for me is the navigation feature, providing a significantly more accurate and visible display compared to my iPhone 13 Pro. Whether using Maps, Waze, Google Maps, or alternative navigation software, this unit is a game-changer.Moreover, the unit supports voice-activated functions through Siri and Google Assistant, which have proven highly effective. I utilize this feature to call customers en route for my firewood deliveries. Additionally, it offers a Mirrorlink feature for watching videos while stationary, though I haven't had the opportunity to explore this function yet.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Smart Screen 9-inch unit for anyone seeking an aftermarket Apple CarPlay or Android Auto unit. Unfortunately I was disappointed with this unit. It regularly disconnects from my iPhone, and then randomly reconnects. In the week I’ve had it, it has lost the connection to the phone completely twice so I’ve had to re-pair it with my phones Bluetooth multiple times. Also, the auto dimming doesn’t work, and I have to manually dim the screen at night.Such a shame as the concept is great and the build quality feels really good. Hopefully a software update can be worked on to fix these issues.
