Wwe: The Epic Journey Of Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson [Blu-ray]

I"m a huge The Rock mark! One of the most charismatic people in the whole entertainment industry,not just the sports entertainment.When I start to watch WWE (F at the time) around 1999-2000 (I started as a WCW fan) he was one of the first who captured my eye.What a great promos he was cuttin' . I think that was missin' a bit in this blu-ray - more of his great promos.But I like to see his "Hollywood Rocky" stuff from 2003.Very underrated period of his carrer.I enjoyed the documentary, captured the life and his career and the memorable moments of it.Great stuff.I like the match list too. His ladder match with Triple H in SummerSlam '98 is amazing. Don't even have to mention the brutal "I Quit" one with Mankind at Royal Rumble '99.I was glad to see they included the one with Lesnar at SummerSlam '02.One of my favourite ones.And the one with Hogan at No Way Out '03.Not like their WM spectacle,but still very good one.So if you like The Rock you should buy this blu-ray on the second. It's nothing but amazing.

Disk 1 contains the 2 hour documentary and gives a big insight into the Rock and his wrestling career, it even has him explaining to the audience at the start how he never used the WWE to propel himself to Hollywood.Disk 2 contains some of his best matches from early on in his career.Disk 3 contains some of his best matches from late on in his career as well as some segments from 2011 when he returned.

I only have one complaint. If your like me and dont read things correctly. " the Peoples Wrestlemania" is infact wrestlemania 27. Not the once in a lifetime 28 like i thought, I assumed this as this dvd was released after mania 28!Awesome dvd tho, fantastic matches.

Bought it for secret santa for my mate he's a huge fan of the rock and WWE so i got this a he was well chuffed with it a good value and arrived on time and in good condition

The main disk of the journey is excellent looks of detail and interviews from various people tht u would want 2 hear from. The matches disks r a bit ....meh for me I remember him having better matches tht aren't on the dvds. Very enjoyable watch tho.

Being a massive fan of Dwayne 'the rock' Johnson, this is a must have. It has everything any fan would want. Awesome. This would make any fan very happy

Questo set da tre dischi mi ha completamente annoiato. Il primo disco è interamente dedicato alla biografia di The Rock senza alcun lottato, cosa che andrebbe anche bene se non facesse spoiler di ogni singolo incontro che vedremo nei restanti due.La scelta di impostare un dvd cosi mi ha fatto storcere il naso.E se da un lato mi aspettavo che il terzo dvd si chiudesse con un match importante ho dovuto arrendermi a un segmento che allora come oggi molti fan rigettano.Deludente.
