So much fun and eye-catching. This is a beautiful set of magnetic crystal like pieces. They are tough - ours were dropped several times and there were no chips or cracks. The magnets are strong enough to hold the shape you make together, but not so tough they are hard to pull apart. I gave one each to a grandson and granddaughter for Christmas and they were played with a lot. They are still being played with a month later. The other grandkids have mentioned that they would like one of these too.

I bought this as a gift for a 9 year old girl. She and her 2 sisters loved it and played with it for days.

My 13 year old plays with it. Good quality. Except you have to place the toy back into the storage box exactly right or it doesn’t work. Slightly annoying

I purchased these for my mom who has rheumatoid arthritis. She needs to excercise her hands often so that she does not get contractures. She squeezes the orb then works at putting it back together. She lives in a long term care facility and the staff and visitors are often seen playing with them when they go in to see her. Whether for hand exercises or a fidget toy just leave on a counter or coffee table and everyone will give it a go.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my son who is on the autism spectrum. He has a lot of fidget toys, but these are completely different. Each crystal pentagon has several different magnets so you can rearrange them in many ways. You can make shapes or even origami style animals. The possibilities are endless. It should be noted that swallowing magnets is very dangerous so you should use caution with kids who have a tendency to chew on things.

I would not count these as an anxiety reducer, but they do give me something to do so I am not thinking about stressful stuff. Good for a quick break at work to build a few things for a few minutes. The kids like them too (when they visit they have something to play with for a bit).REASON FOR THE RATING OF THREE STARS: CRYSTAL BLUE and CRYSTAL LAKE BLUE are VERY CLOSE IN COLOR. It was very hard to tell them apart. I ordered both (crystal blue first - which I like better). I think the crystal lake blue should be a lot lighter in color so it seems like it is a different color. Not happy about these colors being so close in shade.
