Interesting story and Illustrations are impressive, my son enjoys to read and then look at the picture with characters.

Bought this for my class- they absolutely love it and keep asking me to read it again! Also fast delivery and great condition.

Absolutely brilliant book! Kids loved in in Year 2 class and also used it for one to one plan for pupil with behavioural needs and he thought it was awesome! Definitely recommend for infant pupils

My Reception class really enjoyed this story. The twist of the giant being a friendly cook is lovely and prompted some good discussions in the class. Love the illustrations too!

A really good read for children featuring a sympathetic giant and of course, Jack. Mr Stimpson's illustrations are superb, the story adapted to today's world but keeping the essence that has made it a constant favourite with both kids and adults. My grandson loved it - me too!

I love this book!! I use it for a project with my sixth grade students at the beginning of the year to review story elements. They love the book, and the illustrations are magnificent!

I enjoyed Colin's artwork, but I suppose from reading, listening and digesting scripts and writings over the years, his own genius had to evolve. It is definately a must for the wish list if you enjoy a good hardcover with the whole kit and kaboddle.

A positive, inclusive version of the traditional classic. The artwork alone is beautiful, and with the modern text is fantastic.

The art work was really nice. I thought it was going to be a fresh take on the original, however the author removed a couple of the elements that made the original story so good. The story was made too "safe", even for my 3-1/2 year old, it never really peaked.
