DHP Stella Bed with Metal Frame, Gold, Queen

Was looking for a metal parson style bed and did not want to spend thousands at high end stores so took a chance with this one. Boy and I glad I did. It is both stylish and sturdy. Not a squeak or movement at all from the bed. It was very easy to assemble by myself and instructions are very clear. Lots of support beams to hold a mattress without a box spring. Love the fact that it offers two heights as I need under bed storage and also have a little dog that likes to camp under beds. Would recommend to anyone.

The look of this bed frame is great, but it might as well be made of construction paper. I should have known seeing as the price is so reasonable. In this case you really get what you pay for. After normal use for six months the bed is pretty much ruined. The headboard has come loose and can’t be tightened and one of the supports underneath is bent beyond repair. I am sorely disappointed. I really wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, save your money and buy something nicer that will last longer.

Let me start off by saying I'm a plus sized person. I have had this bed frame for months now and have not experienced any bending, warping, or breakage, and I tend to flop onto my bed at the end of a long day! The color is gorgeous, a matte gold, not bright and just what I was looking for. My bed had no flaws in the finish, no scuffing or anything upon arrival and hasn't sustained any since. Due to the interlocking system of the rails, the bed does make very subtle squeaks/rattling in response to movement, but it's barely noticeable. I'm very pleased. One of the best purchases I've made for my apartment!

Came early and very well packaged, set up was easy. Like most reviews I’ve read, my frame did come slightly scratched in a few spots. The flaws were cosmetic and barely noticeable, but if that kind of thing bothers you, keep in mind when purchasing. Overall, the bed is sturdy, but the headboard is a little loose no matter how tightly I screw it in. Again, not a dealbreaker for me. The color is also more of a brass than a gold, but that’s what I was looking for so I’m happy. Definitely great quality for what I paid!

Purchased this Stella metal gold bed frame in king a few months ago.Also purchased two other twin beds for my boys which are fine. The center beam of my bed in size King has been unstable and bends moving the bed. Have fixed it time and time again, it is not getting better only worse. It’s bending in the center of the bed and the bed moves when I lay in it. It has also started to damage the flooring. Thought if I could keep adjusting it however it’s getting irritating to take all the sheets off, the mattress and turn the frame on its side to fix the beam. It also is starting to make my back sore as it is curving in the center. I love the bed and it’s perfect for my room however wish it more sturdy. Emailed customer service and waiting for a response.

Love this bed! Love the Matt finish, makes it look like bronze or antique gold. I did not want it to be shiny. Steps were easy to follow for assembly and it seems very sturdy. So cute and worth the money!

I should’ve paid attention to the reviews. I wanted this bed as the dupe for a CB2 bed frame which is 5 times the price. The box arrived damaged, the gold paint had SEVERAL scratches and a few dents in random areas that had to have happened prior to shipping. I was so disappointed, I had to request a partial refund. They were not too happy about it even though I sent photos as proof the moment I opened it. I don’t have the photos anymore since I purchased the frame exactly a year ago now. It’s also not meant for folks who are heavily overweight since the panels that hold your mattress are thin. The bed rarely creaks but I’m single, 130 lbs, and the only person that comes to my bed is my 10-year-old, so I can’t say what it would mean for a couple. Lol. Pretty and stylish piece, just not handled well during some stage of packaging.

Assemble was easy except for the instructions are incomplete and you need to refer to a separate sheet of paper that we had almost discarded. It’s a piece of paper that explains/shows washers and lock washers go in between each leg and the screws holding leg to the bed. We had to backtrack and undo some of our work on the legs to place the washers and lock washers where they belong. It still took us about 45 min to assemble this bed. Don’t skip any steps, and refer to the loose piece of additional instructions and I trust this bed will turn out strong and not squeak. We have slept in this bed for 4 nights and it does not squeak at all. It supports 2 of us average adults very well. Time will tell I guess if some of the other bad reviews are right or not. So glad we got this beautiful good value bed.

I ordered two of these - one for each of my sons - and I am very impressed with the quality. I love the simple and sturdy design. They look great and have held up well so far. Definitely recommend.
