Fantastic purchase
I purchased the leg brace, as my right leg kept collapsing on me, due to a severe spinal stenosis. I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews, and also due to the low price (some are double or triple the cost). However, this leg brace is an excellent product. It is very well constructed and easy to use (no instructions supplied or needed). You just set the degree of flexion that you require and fit the brace to your leg bet tightening the velcro straps. There is huge amount of adjustment, so it should be suitable for a very wide range of leg thickness and length. I am only 5 feet 6 inches tall, and the brace fits me comfortably. The brace gives me great lateral stability and allows the leg to move in a controlled manner. After hardly leaving the house for the last month, I am now walking with light support from a walking stick. This product has hugely exceeded my expectations

Too big for my leg
It is way too big for my leg. The description says it is adjustable. I thought we could adjust it to the length of our leg. No instructions attached. Not sure what we should do with the hinge knobs. There are some many Velcro straps that it is difficult to manage it. Very diff to wear. The metal rod to the side and the Velcro poke into your leg when you wear it, making it very uncomfortable

Good for use during times of recovery
Bought after damaging my acl and a few other issues as my fabric braces were no longer up to the task.Good points are :it's fairly light so wearing it is not too tiring, the length is adjustable and you can fit it to your size pretty easily, the knee joint is adjustable meaning you can limit your knees range of movement (very helpful for me as I have joint hyper mobility and my knees hyper extend, causing extensive damage over time so being able to limit that saves a lot of pain and physio),If you can reach your ankle, no assistance would be required to put it on,Compared neoprene supports, it is not very difficult to put on correctly on the first try,A lot cheaper than a lot of similar products.Negative aspects are :It can be pretty squeaky, causing a type of Robocop effect when walking,It's very obvious so it does draw attention,If you have thin legs, the knee plates may not close in as much as you may like,The Velcro straps can become entangled very easily and if you have any weakness on your arms, putting it on can be very tiring.

Not suitable if your below average in the leg
Easy to adjust ,really does stabilise the leg. I've had one knee replacement and unfortunately my other knee has failed due to arthritis and my ACL I'm 5ft 3inch and the metal leg bars dug into my inner thigh as made way too long at both ends could do with being an inch shorter at both ends therefore unable to use ,I wanted the stabilization that the brace gives to aid me when out so from a personal point of view was a waste of money ,which is a shame as everything else was great , disappointed as brace is solid ,well made and NOT cheap to look at or feel but a few design errors which could do with altering ,

Measure inside leg for correct size & get medical Advice from your Drs
I just had leg surgery & needed something to help support my leg as it heals post op,Was told by the physio/nurses that I needed extra support from the bandages I already had after stitches was removed,I didn’t want to wait 6 wks to collect one from the consultant so decided to get one.I’m not disappointed as this brace is helping my leg to heal so much faster & is giving me the support needed to help me up & downstairs, & to walk more safely on the walking frame I was given by the hospital physio,It’s really well made & is very easy to put on, I would recommend you wear a tubla grip type bandage underneath as the Velcro can be scratchy on bear skin but if you had leg surgery you may already have these,It’s made really well , I would say measure your inside leg, its important I’m 29inch inside leg & it was abit big with the top bar poking in my groin,WE was able to adjust it, by taking of abit from the top But I wouldn’t recommend doing this yourself,Apart from that I’m very happy with the product & for me it has worked out great.....

Helps, but not comfortable, easy to use, or well-made
It does help keep my knee from hyperextending and dislocating, but is not comfortable, is difficult to get on/off, has no length adjustment (short of cutting or breaking metal), padding is falling off, it slides down during use, and the set range gets changed by accident frequently. If using two, they also catch on each other a lot (bandages or trousers over the top stopped them catching and getting stuck together while moving, but didn't stop them hitting each other with each step).Had to make additional padding to stop the top of the metal digging in, and wear ankle braces to stop the bottom doing same. When worn without ankle braces, they would dig into my feet and ankles if my feet were not entirely straight.Getting the bars to align with my legs correctly was also very awkward. I basically had to remove all the padding, place the padding around my legs, then velcro the bars on, but that wasn't perfect. The padding and straps are not easy to use, relying on large amounts of velcro, which sticks to the wrong place a lot. The padding was fairly thin to begin with, considering the ends of the brace are just squared metal bars, but wore even thinner quickly.Could they seriously not be bothered to even round the ends of the metal bars? It appears that way.The only advantage of these is they are cheap by the standards of medical braces, but you get what you pay for.

Best brace I've used
Since having reconstructive surgery on my knee and lower leg following a motorcycle accident in 2018 I've had to wear a full leg brace and have so far gone through 4 different ones and I can honestly say that this is the best one I've used by far.Easy to put on and adjust for comfort. The metal support bars are adjustable for shorter legs (you have to cut them along the marked lines) and the straps that hold the brace in place are incredibly comfortable and hold the brace in place without slipping down your leg which the previous ones I've owned have.I highly recommend this brace.

Habe mich einige Zeit damit aufgerichtet
