I needed to upgrade my old paddle because it just got so thin from years of playing. I play twice a week at a rec center and even though I'm not a spinner and mostly play defense, this paddle is perfect and helped me UP my game! It's the same exact handle as my old one with thicker rubber and a bit heavier, but I have adjusted very quickly. Glad I upgraded! (Everyone at my ping pong club approves of it also.)

Noticeably thicker solid paddle, it feels great, works well. Worth an increased price.

I'm a ping pong newbie and only play when family comes by the house usually. So, I am accustomed to using one of those cheapo racquet sets that you get from a sporting goods store or Walmart. I didn't realize just how poor and odd cheap racquets are until I tried this one. It's like the difference of a world in weight, grip, handle, ergonomics, almost everything across the board is better with this racquet. It's not going to make you a professional by no means, but it will make you feel much more relaxed and comfortable paying so that might be all the difference.8/10 I would recommend it.
