The Maxi-Cosi Ava High Chair is a great value for money high chair from birth up to 3 years of age.
Great adjustable high chair.Very easy and quick to assemble even without checking the instructions. Great quality materials and the fact that it can easily be wiped clean makes it ideal for me and my baby. It folds by pressing just two buttons at the same time, and it is very easy and space-saving to store away.It is also very easily adjustable, both the straps and the recliner work by just holding a button down. For setting back in place this can be done with just using one hand and it only takes one second to do so.This is great quality for money and I believe it would last as advertised for another few good years before my baby would not need this anymore. The Maxi-Cosi Ava High Chair it can also easily be taken apart to take on our journeys.Only a few downsides are that the legs are quite wide when opened so not so good for small spaces, and that the tray table despite being adjustable is quite complicated to take apart before storing the chair away.Very pleased with this high chair and would definitely recommend it.

4/5
Maxi-Cosi Ava High ChairWe actually had a different brand of high chair for first few weeks of our baby starting on solid foods but we had a juggling feeling it wasn’t right due to the quality of the product. After swapping out for the Maxi-Cosi Ava High Chair we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We have a kitchen/dinner new build style house so space is a problem but this fits neatly into the end of our dinning table and allows my wife, 4 year old son, baby girl and I to have meals comfortably together. It has a really cool and sleek look and it took me 7 mins (I timed it) to go from box opening to fully built and operational. Instructions are clear and it has a few nice features. It packs neatly away into compact shape. Would give it 4/5

Great product
Ordered this product as my son is now 6 months old and it was time to start weaning him. He was very small when he was born (4lb11) and is still small for his age so we needed something that was going to support him in a seated position otherwise he would just slip back because if how small he is. This chair is really supportive for him and he can sit comfortably in it at mealtimes without slipping down. It was super easy to put together and I am not very good at assembling things but I did it within minutes! It is nice to look at and the colour is lovely. The material wipes clean really easily, we have been using it for a while now and there are no stains on it at all. The straps are easily adjustable. I would recommend this product as it is good value for money and is really supportive for babies who haven't mastered sitting yet. This should last him for a few years as it seems very sturdy.

Wouldn’t recommend
I don’t often leave reviews but I spent ages deciding on a high chair and suspect there will be other mums in the same situation. The concept of the chair is great and it folds away relatively compactly but the button/switch can be difficult to do. We found our baby too small for the chair at 6 months old when we started weaning, she only comfortable sits in it now at nearly 9 months and considering it is advertised as from newborn the straps definitely wouldn’t be secure on a new born. The biggest issue is when the tray is pushed back (which is a faff to get on and off) our baby gets her arms caught down the sides and has a couple of times scratched her skin as it’s quite sharp. If I pull the tray forward she can’t reach the food.Overall the chair is quite clunky and the mechanisms aren’t smooth so it isn’t easy to use. As for the fact our baby isn’t comfortable and has hurt herself on the chair I really wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely chair still trying to master the one hand to fold the chair thou

Falls apart
NOT worth the price, better off getting a second hand one - pieces have broken off and now the chair isn’t safe or fit for purpose and the small pieces are a major choking hazard for babies and pets.

Lightweight compact high chair
This maxi cosi highchair is great, especially when you don't have a great deal of room to spare. Our baby is just under 6llb and 7 weeks old. She fits in the seat in the reclined position with her safety harness on and can watch me doing whatever needs to be done. Being high up is brilliant as we have 4 dogs who obviously want to sniff her but the height makes this impossible for them. I love the fact that this item will grow with her. Not many items you can get for your baby that is suitable from birth upto 3 years old. The cover comes off easily and can be machine washed. When it's not in use, it cam be folded up and will slide at the side or back of the settee etc. Love it!

Nice chair, but tabletop surface doesn't allow suction bowls to stick.
High chair looks good and folds up nice and compact. However, the only downside is the tabletop tray. The surface doesn't allow anything that has a suction (baby bowls, toys etc) to stick to it.
