The Rejected Wife

I loved the blurb and was excited about reading this story, but I couldn't even finish the book. There's no background or details about why William and Heather had to get married except that it was required in their grandparents will. At the beginning of the book, one of Heather's brothers hates her, but then all of a sudden changes his mind and becomes her protector against her husband. The author doesn't give any details about why the brother changed his mind. This book jumps all over the place and has zero character development. When I made it 40% through the book, I was still confused about what was going on and felt no interest in the characters. I stopped reading at that point.

I tried, really tried to get through this book. Story line needs more development before it's believable. It's obvious this writer is inexperienced. Keep at it, you'll get there one day. Good luck!

Heather & William were promised to each other even before they were thought of and things aren't going well with their marriage. Heather tries so hard to please him but she can't seem to do anything right and he makes sure to treat her badly. In front of his friends, he treats her well but behind closed doors, it is a different story. William doesn't want to feel anything for Heather but she has grown on him and now that she is ill he wants to protect her and care for her but she isn't having any of it. What games is he playing now? Can they ever be able to move forward together or is it best for them to go their separate ways? A good read.

This book was ok. A little longer than I expected. I thought the book would've ended around chapter 34 but it continued on another 7 chapters. I remembered reading the sample awhile ago and deciding not to get the book. I only got it this time because it was being given away for free. I wouldn't re-read it so I can't recommend.

I really enjoyed this book, loved all of the characters and hopefully his sister will get a life back. I loved how Heather never backed down. Good book.

THREE STARS⭐⭐⭐The Rejected Wife by Sweta RP was a really good read! There were gaps in the storyline that could have been filled to make it amazing but overall the storyline was well thought out and executed.What amazed me is that the author Sweta is only 17 years old!

Please keep writing excellent books because this one was. To many cookie cutter romance books out there. This one was a revelation!

Don't waste your money. The story lacked any depth and so did the characters. The scenes were painful to read

I can't describe this book it was all over the place. It wasn't believable in the least. How many enemies can one person have.
