I am going to suggest that this maltodextrin supplement should be for short-term, athletic performance use only - not as a general or replacement sweetener. Unfortunately, I did just that. A little over two months later, I went in for routine lab work, and discovered (must to my shock) that my glucose levels had become so elevated, my doctor immediately put me on Metformin. If you are a professional athlete or bodybuilder, the sustained energy maltodextrin provides may be beneficial to you. Even so, there should be a warning on the package that emphasizes how 'fast absorbing' this form of sugar is, and should definitely be avoided by diabetics, or anyone suffering with blood glucose issues. Because once you consume it, whatever is not used for energy will end up directly in your bloodstream. Exercise caution.

This is a excellent product. No taste can mix it with anything. I will definitely be buying again!

Good value but would be great if these bags actually closed. I have ordered a myriad of products from this company and they must be shifted into a different container/bag after the initial opening.
