MANZI 12 Pairs Women's Ankle High Sheer Socks

Amended review: I ended up keeping these thinking I would wear with boots but have actually worn them with pants without a problem. My pant hems are long enough, and I'm able to pull these up high enough (although not as high as pictured) and the tops don't show at the ankle like I originally thought they would. These are soft and silky but don't seem to snag easily. I've hand washed and worn several times. I would order again.Original review: I ordered the Natural-2 and it’s a great color. Unfortunately, these come just above my ankle bone and not at all like pictured. I need something a couple inches taller so as to not to show under pants. I only tried on for a minute, but the fabric felt soft so if you’re looking for a shorter sock this might work for you. I would say I have average ankles, and the top band was stretchy but snug, so probably not great if you have thicker ankles.

I just didn’t like the material even though they feel like silk stockings. I have to use a device to pull Up my socks And they slip right off so it’s really hard to use with this item.

I like the fit and color. So many for the price....

I saw my first pair of ankle stockings on an old woman at age 14 while on a city bus. I don’t think she realized the tops showed. My young self shuddered and vowed I’d never get caught wearing them. Wore stockings and pantyhose for years before I tried knee highs. Then 10 years ago, knee highs began to bind at the top. My weight is the same, so why is that? Changed over to a non--binding band, but now they pinch, too.Never say never. Fast forward 50 years from that bus ride and I am that old lady =). Impossible to find ankle stockings locally. Enlarged the images of several Amazon options because I don’t want coarse textured drugstore quality. I am thrilled with my purchase.Buy these! I’m a picky princess and these are PERFECT. Lovely natural color that’s not too dark or light. Silky sheer texture with a nearly invisible reinforced toe...like fine hosiery in yesteryear’s department stores. Adequate height so the top band doesn’t show below slacks when legs are crossed. Happy to report the band stays up, too!What a great value! Will be back for more and try a few in black next time.Silky sheer quality is important to me and these are perfect. Nearly invisible reinforced toe.

These are thin and comfortable, but great quality, so I have no fear of them ripping! LOVE these!
