Great for pencil portraits
I like these pencils very much but would like to buy just the very soft ones separately or in packs of, say, size 8,9 and 10

These are my absolute favourite pencils, the matt black detail is outstanding and when used with their sister pencils the mars lumograph graphite the results are amazing, recommend all day long

Wonderful pencils if you want a really black tone these are the ones. Slightly waxy

Great but very soft.
These are very good pencils for sketching and laying in tones and values, but be warned, they are super soft. Mine were sent directly fron Germany.

have i been unlucky?
Very nice pencils, super dark black etc, but wow, cannot sharpen these without them continually breaking/crumbling/snapping. Must waste at least 50% of every pencil (and I'm not trying to get a super sharp tip or anything like that, just trying to reveal enough of the pencil to be useable). Frustrating. Difficult to see myself buying these again.
