Works and get the job done
I had these for a couple of months, so far so good. I got them to charge my older iphones and it works. I checked the cables with a multimeter and they output 5 watt consistently, which is good. Good product.

Can use older devices with universal USB plugs
Still have a mix of devices that use different lightening cable. This has been a life saver in the car to be able to still connect phone as the cards are using the new universal usb model.

Very slow,not fast charging and data transfer,can't work for carplay
These are advertised as "fast charging" and there's absolutely nothing fast about them.My original fast charger would charge my phone from 1% to 60% in 30 minutes.These chargers are taking my phone from 1% to 20% in 3 hours.Does not transfer data nor does this cable tether to any device I bought 2 and tried both on different devices and on iPad's and my laptop but still nothing.I'm having trouble syncing it with my car.Says can't connect.... I would think it was a phone problem,but haven't had any other probs plugging phone in to charge.I'm driving and MID-SONG it cuts off.Says not connecting.Try again from scratch after stopping for an errand.It would connect briefly and then says can't see phone.Tried turning connection around and repositioning phone - nothing works anymore.Verified all plugs to car and phone fully plugged in - nothing.If you are going to use it in one place and leave your device alone while charger these are great cords for you.If you are going to use your device while charging,need a cable for the car,will plug/unplug often,or move your charger around find a different option.

Cables work fine, does not last long though due to Apple switch to usbc port too.

terrible quality, broke immediately. wish I read the reviews. First cable didn't work out of box. so I decided to use the second cable that came in the box. And it broke after like five or six times. I'm never buying this again.

Very disappointing
This cable is basically unusable. My iPhone only charges when the connector is held at a certain angle, and any small movement disconnects it. It’s clearly poorly made or doesn’t fit the iPhone connector properly. I wouldn’t recommend buying it.
