Works great, easy cleanup
Finally broke this tool out to grind pork sirloin for lumpia filling. Medium coarseness was perfect, and the mixer had no trouble with the grind.We have a 6qt Kitchenaid mixer. Grinder attachment was kept in refrigerator until processing time, and meat was cubed then set in the freezer until ready. One pass was very adequate to our needs.

Better than the original
I use a Kitchenaid stand mixer a lot. My OEM grinder body was plastic. It cracked. This one is metal and works just ad well. I think it will last much longer.

Great grinder, but DO NOT put in the dishwasher!
The thing works just as advertised. Put it in the freezer for 20 minutes or so and it will grind anything you want! It works really well.Just wash by hand.! Putting it in the dishwasher will oxidize the metal parts that are not stainless steel and you will get this grey material that will come off on your hands and everything else.This can be fixed. You just have to wash it thoroughly with hot water and lots of dishwashing liquid, dry completely and then give everything a light coating of vegetable oil. Hope this helps!

Perfect for grinding meat at home.
I had no idea it was as simple as it was to make brats and sausage. This attachment fit perfectly on my KitchenAid mixer and it came with all the blades and other materials needed to get started. I have heard it's better to partially freeze the meat in any grinder after you cut them in to small chunks to fit in the chute. It grinds perfectly. The only thing is the parts are not dishwasher safe and of course I did not read the directions that had in Big bold letters that read...DO NOT PLACE IN DISHWASHER. It just turned some of the chrome parts dull gray...that was my stupidity. But the product is well worth the price and you can't go wrong with the purchase. Besides the cost of the meat, I probably made enough brats the first time to pay for the cost of the grinder attachement.

Don’t waste ur time
It worked well the first time. But this is only the second time I’m using it and the SLIGHTEST bit of sinew clogs it and won’t work. Over priced

Great replacement
I have had a Kitchenaid OEM grinder for years and never used it until 2 years ago. It was made from plastic and cracked the 4th time I used it. I replaced it with this product and so far so good.
